1. Maintain gap integrity on runs. Set the edge.

2. Put Philly into 3rd and longs. Make Hurts beat you with his arm.

3. On offense, get out to an early lead and win time of possession. Lots of runs and passes into the short and intermediate. Get Philly into situations where they need to win the game with Hurts in the pocket.
This 1000%

Literally the key to the game outside of putting at least 20 points on them. That's my magic number for this game. Our average in the season was 22. Philly's was 27. Worried about the weather.

Weather:
This one won’t be as cold as the K.C. game, a welcome development for a Rams squad used to playing indoors. The temperatures are supposed to be north of freezing, around 38 degrees, with winds around 10 mph.

The forecast here shows 30% possible rain/snow. The prior day had a 48% chance of rain. So, keep an eye on these storm systems. Expect offenses to be further affected if they roll into Sunday rather than Saturday.

The thing that has me the most worried is the weather and the counter to weather is running the football. Philly is a running team, they have a premier RB and damned good Qb who can run. They are a better running team than us.

This one has me worried.

Everyone (including me) has been talking about the Rams defense but it just might come down to the Rams offense. We know McVay will rely heavily on Stafford and Puka and Kyren and if the Rams can drop 40 points against Buffalo, then they can score just as many on the eagles. And they just might have to do that if the eagles offense has as much success as they did last time we played them. Go Rams!

The Internet always wins. They found him in less than a day. He lost his job as a DEI Consulting Job. You can't make this crap up. People are incredibly MORONIC!

Yep. He got his ass canned from his job. I imagine he will try to fight it but doubt he can afford a good enough lawyer to win.

He’s a typical Eagles fan. Pure assholery and hatred. They can’t tolerate any other fan having an ounce of enjoyment outside of Eagles fans.

During the wildcard game when the Rams were abusing the Vikings, my asshole neighbor texted me - “Get that shit out of your system tonight”.

Of course I texted him back that he sounds concerned. But just the idea of it. The game being played had little to do with the Eagles and it wasn’t even over yet. They just cannot let it go.

Let's KEEP IT REAL FOLKS! We know the Eagles are favored already by 6...and rightly so, because the may have the best OLine in the league with a running QB and the best RB this year.

Obviously Our Rams can beat any team left. They're heading to Philly and the forecast is calling for rain/snow with a dropping temp below 30.

The Rams have a young DLine vs a veteran OLine...THIS GAME WILL BE WON IN THE TRENCHES as I see it.

Where are my worries???

- What's with Kupp not getting more targets? He's lost a step but He's savvy and solid. I think he has to fit into this game because the Rams have to control the tempo.

-McVay and Stafford have to live, eat, and sleep Eagles defensive schemes because the Eagles are gonna bring the blitz at least 25% of the time...and Stafford has to make them pay.

- Run Kyren, but work on running him wide to stretch out that defense and get him out on some "quick hitches"!!!! Keep the Eagles D' off balance!!! Kyren's first thought has to be ball security when he gets it!!!

- The Rams are in better shape if they have Higbeast...but McVay has to use him too. He figures heavily into the "ball control" pass game.

- The first call for the defense is to TACKLE WELL!!! Barkley, AJ brown, and TE Goedert love the physical game. the Ram D' has to contain them and it's hard to do every time but the Eagles love that physical game and the Ram young defense has to rise to the occasion!!!!

- Contain Hurts in the pass/run game. He's gonna try, to run when guys are covered. GOTTA GET HIM DOWN!

NOTHING WRONG WITH SAYING "WE HAVE A TOUGH GAME COMING". NOTHING WRONG WITH BELIEVING THE RAMS CAN WIN BECAUSE THEY CAN!!!

GO DO IT!!!

The Eagles will not be bringing much pressure. They get plenty with their front 4. I’d expect them to be sub-25% blitz maybe even 15%.

Stafford isn’t much of a threat to run either.

The Vikes didn’t match the Rams intensity level…Rams were completely ready to play.

Scheme-wise, McVay scripted a beautiful first drive and had it going from there. Need that against Philly.

The Rams are now a much more physical team and must be on both sides of the ball.

Kyren cannot fumble, period.

Ill report back but im expecting some razzing for sure.

I still have some faith in humanity but probably my first and last visit to the "linc". Easy trip from NC and I have off work Monday, first game of the year for me....
Dude good luck! You got a pair of brass balls on ya! I want to go to a Philly game to but it's other side of the country. Went to a Raider game in 2017 and fully expected to get some shit and nobody said anything, got a couple of looks of people looking at my jersey then me but that's it. IDK, think Philly would have to be the Thunderdome for other teams fans.

However in AZ of all the years I've been to the minimum amount of fights I've seen is 2, usually 3 or 4 but it's everybody vs everybody lol

The Eagles LT, Jordan Mialata, was on local radio talking about the first Rams game. I was a little surprised that he said that gane was the most physical game that he has ever played in. Said he was a little sore after that one. He said very positive things about the Rams D line.

I believe he lined up across from Verse a lot. So kind of telling that he talked of the physicality of the game and who was likley responsible for that.

They need a spy for Hurts and it cannot be one of the linebackers because they are not fast or athletic enough to contain him. Lake would be phenomenal in this role, but he does too many other things. Jaylen McCollough would be my choice because if he hits Hurts, well, it will hurt.
I don't recall seeing Shula add that wrinkle yet, Allen was a real problem outside the pocket albeit they are similar but still each is unique. I think if we can pressure and get a knockdown or 2 early it will have an adverse affect on JH. Lane/gap integrity and minimizing his off schedule yardage will be key.
I am hoping Shula has something for Hurts and the boys after our bad showing in game 1
