Russell Wilson will be considered a poor mans John Wolford by the end of this Super Bowl run we are about to embark on.Thanks for the great video! He will be our Russel Wilson (Dreaming is still allowed, right?)
Nah there's too many assholes interested in criticizing people than to be impressed with what he did. Some of the comments about him recently really hit the lowest common denominator.
Possibly for the playoffs, if we make it.Anybody knows when he is coming back?
I would like to see this. After watching Donald break tackles to get after Wilson I sure wish they would have tried him at running back in that situation.
What if Wolford plays great and wins the next game but Goff is healthy for the playoffs, who you think will start?
Goff. What if Wolford plays great and wins the next game but Goff is healthy for the playoffs, who you think will start?
Well if that’s the case then do you compare Goff vs Seattle defense or do you compare Goff’s previous numbers vs AZ?Wolford, although technically some coaches don't believe you lose you starting job if injured, but I would go with the hot hand, however, let's not put the cart before the horse.
Actually it’s the fans that go overboard in their criticism. People glad he’s hurt yes there were those comments. People that take hyperbole to heights just so they can pile on criticism. And it isn’t just Goff throw in sloman Noteboom Kiser Blythe hill and many others from years past.wow is it anyone that criticizes goff is an asshole or is it the hole rams organization. sometimes you go a little overboard with your hate of anyone that is critical of the rams. i must admit that you are a true fan but so are some of us who are not as optimistic
Imagine being the coach that got Aaron Donald injured carrying the football on offense...I wouldn’t wanna risk itI would like to see this.
AD is already the most dominant player in the NFL at the LOS. Why not let him hold the football, while he's mowing down lineman.
Let's move onto some further analysis of what Wolford brings to the table, based on in-depth research and film study.
Measurables/Athleticism
Wolford's main problem is his lack of size. He's listed at 6-foot-1 but actually measured in at 5-foot-11½ at his pro day. That's probably the main reason for the lack of NFL interest.
Nevertheless, his athletic numbers are very good. His 40-time was above average, his short shuttle and three cone drill were very good and his broad and vertical jump were about average.
Arm Strength
Wolford doesn't have a cannon for an arm but uses a pump fake to good effect and can get the ball downfield with adequate touch and timing:
He will usually put enough zip on the ball on out-breaking routes, throwing a tight spiral on this pass:
His numbers when throwing downfield last season were solid and a vast improvement on his first three
He already plays a very physical position.Imagine being the coach that got Aaron Donald injured carrying the football on offense...I wouldn’t wanna risk it
Pretty much zero chance Wolford starts if Goff is good to go
Here is one for you; "We will rally around John Wolford and we will play good football".
Yeah because snapping your thumb in place while it’s dislocated (and broken it seems ) is not putting the team first ..and the fact you and other love to call him goof shows me your real agendaI didnt want JGoof injured, but he needs to sit. Pure and simple.
The “Angry Run” of the week went to Sam Darnold, a quarteback. On the other hand, we have our guy. The pussy run of the year belongs to Goof. If you cant put team first, you’ve lost me. I dont care if I ever see JGoof play another down for us. I remember Jim Everettes phantom sack and what it did to his legacy. Jim Rome certainly remembers. lol This was worse than that to me.
But get well JGoof, no need to be injured.
