You seem to come off like some sort of Goff apologist.
And you seem to make every post of yours about Goff. What do we call that?
You seem to come off like some sort of Goff apologist.
I call that a team stat.Jeezus!
Goff missed L.A.'s playoff-clinching Week 17 victory over the Cardinals, and finished the 2020 campaign with 3,952 yards, 20 TD and 13 INT.
Really? That was his season, no words of sympathy that's fucking pathetic! We all live in a times where everyone and everything is examined and critical. Well I do my part for 8 hours when I clock in. Goff this was embarrassing. You better show up Saturday. Yes we're human it's just a game blah blah blah. Show up Goff!
I was thinking about something else earlier : I wonder if this injury might not help Goff mentally. Goff got injured, and the team won anyways. To me that takes a bit of pressure off his shoulders : the rest of the team is good, he just has to come in and do his part, but he doesn't need to take all the pressure.
No, but I did stick it in a pie once.![]()
Nah, cant do that. If he's good enough to play in 2nd half, he should start.Seriously, I’d start Wolfy in the first half and consider Jared in the second half after the Seahawks make adjustments to deal with Wolford.
The Wolf of Ball Street may never be more than a back up QB but he’s fun to watch and this is an entertainment venue. Right? Do we want to risk total and utter destruction of our very expensive QBs thumb? The money says no. It is our prudent fiduciary responsibility to save Jared’s thumb and play our backup instead. I couldn’t sleep at night knowing Jared’s throwing hand would be put at risk, considering what he is being paid. At the very least start Wolfy and if it doesn’t go well throw Jared in to vindicate himself. (a little blue font in there) Seriously, I’d start Wolfy in the first half and consider Jared in the second half after the Seahawks make adjustments to deal with Wolford.
Nah, opened the playbook isnt accurate. Fact is that throwing the ball downfield is less risky. They dont want him taking chances on routes that DB's can jump and turn in to 6.I think it's more proper to say McVay opened the playbook to plays that fit Woldford.
I’m personally a big fan of Jourdann.

I’d seriously like to know why you can’t start with your backup. Nick Foles is also wondering. Thanks.Nah, cant do that. If he's good enough to play in 2nd half, he should start.
There's no issue if Goff starts, and Wolford gets his share of snaps, even takes over if Goff thumb isnt up to it. Going the other way just doesnt work.
You can’t just tie together two unrelated points. You’re using nick foles to illustrate that backups can have success which in the case of foles I’m sure no one would disagree. That however has nothing to do with a game plan to bench a healthy starter for the first half to come in during the second half to confuse the other team? When did nick foles do that?I’d seriously like to know why you can’t start with your backup. Nick Foles is also wondering. Thanks.
And you know he’s healthy how? Truth is, only the coach and team likely know. He broke his thumb last week. LAST WEEK!! I doubt he’s healthy. We will see I guess. You can’t just tie together two unrelated points. You’re using nick foles to illustrate that backups can have success which in the case of foles I’m sure no one would disagree. I don’t know how healthy he is I obviously have no inside information on the topic. I guess a better phrasing would have been healthy enough to play, surely you understand that healthy enough to play and 100% healthy are not the same right? Goff will not be 100% but I also doubt anyone is 100% this late in the season. The point is IF your starting QB is healthy enough to play you don’t create a gameplan to sit him only to have him come off the bench in the second half. Things happen out of peoples control in the NFL but I don’t know of one single instance where a starting QB was healthy enough to play but the coach chose to sit him in the first half to trick the other team Do you? I understand that. None of this discussion matters. I am an “out of the box” innovative type thinker. I guess that gets me in trouble sometimes. I believe though, that having two good QBs is a good problem to have. I do believe Goff can do well on Saturday if he plays. I am just not sure if I trust his grip. Time will tell. I just don’t want Goff rushing back to save his job if his thumb isn’t ready. I believe with our OL a scrambling QB could be good. At least Whit is coming back.
