1) Kinchens. Okay, so he’s not exactly a backup, but he once again laid the wood on somebody when it was there. Nothing dirty, just a hard, legit, NFL hit. Being a ball hawk too makes him a complete safety who will be feared by QBs and WRs alike.
2) Hoecht. Again, not a backup pers se, but he’s relentless and tough as hell. As long as he isn’t chasing down players in pass coverage, he’s a force to be reckoned with. Re-sign him.
3) Whittingham. No way he doesn’t have a much larger role next season. As one poster stated, it makes you feel better about the potential losses in the WR room.

Now, a few words about jimmy g-string. He looked exactly like he always has. He makes some good throws. He makes some bad throws to the other team. His receivers bail him out on a couple more. You never feel completely out of it because he makes his share of plays, but he is STILL prone to coming out on the short end when it comes down to the wire.
…and that interception! I swear, I have seen him try to fit that same pass in just over the defender’s head on that mid range out pattern every game I’ve ever seen him play. If there’s one play he can be counted on to throw the ball to the other team…sometimes they catch it (tonight, SB vs the chiefs) and sometimes they don’t (Ramsey in the NFCCG). I see him botch this throw EVERY FRICKEN GAME!

Rivers played well behind a 2nd string oline. Corrum hasn't shown anything this season that would let me believe rivers would be a big drop off from him
Corum hasn’t played much but the few games he got more than a few carries he was doing very well.

The 3 games he was given his max carry load was 8. He averaged 4.4 yards per carry those 3 games he’s a lot like Kyren, the more he’s given the ball the more he gets in the zone and starts beasting it.

Whittington is fucking incredible. Not just on special teams (where he broke a long kickoff return), but as a receiver as well. He deserves far more snaps than he's gotten thus far.

Would love to see him take a KR to the house next week

The team looked good tonight. Lots of energy and some great performances by Witt and others. Nothing to complain about as I personally wanted the game to go the way it did. Play well, but get the 4th seed. The stars are aligning.

Sucks to lose Corum though. Damnit

Jimmy G is a solid backup and probably a bridge starter for some team. He's fine... and is what he is.
I like Corum.. think he'll be a real contributor next season.
Whittington is interesting. I wonder what his upside is and what may be holding him back. He's a heck of a competitor and seems to have solid hands. Physically.. he's in that Amon St. Brown/Robert Woods range.. no reason he can't be a decent #2 or #3 WR. Looking forward to seeing him grow.
Brendan Jackson looks like he could be a half decent depth OLB.
Desjuan Johnson had a nice game.. high effort. I like it.
Forbes had a few tackles and didn't look like a mess. Maybe something there to work with.
Hummel looks like he could take another step next year.
Jonah Jackson had a good game, right?

Overall.. just really liked how competitive all these backups were against starters.

McMahon had a few rough moments early, then you didnt hear his name the rest of the game. Granted a lot of quick throws, but no penalties and they ran the ball okay.

Would be nice if he could be a cheap back up for a few years at the very least.
