As we know, McSnead has never been afraid of moving up, if necessary. They tried hard to do it last year for Bowers.

I'm just not sure that Warren or Loveland are in Bowers' class.
Id like to add a vet TE that is an improvement over Parkinson. Pitts from Atlanta, who is under used there, for example. Although, Im sure the Rams are basically going to stick with what they have.
They have a decent chunk of money sunk into Higs and Parkinson.

Bowers would have been nice but he would have cost the Rams' #1 and #2 ... plus, probably, more.

So ADD Bowers to the Offense but SUBTRACT Verse and Fiske from the Defense.

No Thank You.

Agreed! Sometimes the best moves you make are the ones that didn't work out.

However, it was reportedly the other team that turned us down. I was just using the example to show that McSnead are not afraid of moving up (or down) for a specific target. If they love Warren or Loveland enough, the fact that they are projected to be gone by our pick is not a huge obstacle.

You're right. We do need to upgrade the TE room.

If we want a vet, we'll probably have to trade for one because there are slim pickings in free agency this year. But they can get out of both Higs and Parkinson's contracts if they want to.

The draft is deep at TE so I suspect they go that route.

I haven't done any deep dives yet but I really like Tyler Warren, Harold Fannin, and Gunnar Helm. Loveland doesn't seem as explosive to me but everybody seems to love him and I could be completely wrong on that front.

Knowing this front office and how they've been trying and failing for years to find their golden goose TE at the top of the draft, I fully expect a TE to be the top pick with the depth and talent this year.

I don't disagree he is a top ten quality prospect. Point is look where the top TEs mostly go off the board.

Gronk went 42 overall. Kelce went third round.
Gronk had a back injury when he was drafted. It’s likely he’d have been in round one. Plus the game has changed a bit since he was drafted.

If Rivers was as good as Corum then why is it Corum is the one who the coaching staff chose to use as Williams main backup? Not saying Rivers isn’t good, just not as good as Corum.
I expect Corum has a higher ceiling, but Ronny Rivers has performed consistently every time he has played IMO, so for now, I don't think we are losing much or at all. I can't really grade their blocking abilities though - maybe Corum has an edge? Certainly the hope is Corum improves with more snaps and time. It would have been nice to see him get a few more snaps this year.

I would love to see JW play more.
Jonah was exellent for once, and the o'line for the most part was very decent to say the least.
Karty is our kicker!
Overall our offense put up decent numbers with a few starters in there with Jimmy. Hope we can keep Jimmy as our back-up, but hes prob going to go to a team as a starter.
Sea almost lost to back-ups and 3rd stringers lmao.

I think there's enough talent in the draft, at the positions we need, that we could just see who falls to us out of the WR-CB-TE group.
Pretty sure Warren won't but I think there's at least one other TE who may even be rated higher than him? the michigan TE?
