I've heard people complain and I don't even live there. There were issues with selling out during the playoffs, so obviously a winning team doesn't automatically mean sellouts. A nicer venue helps drive up attendance. Obviously there's only so much it can do, but it does help.
That's because we had to play the Kings and the games started at 9 on a weekday. This isn't L.A. We don't have hundreds of thousands of fairweather hipster transplants to fight over the last few seats to a 1st round playoff game at that time slot and day.
What's the Blatant BS? This is America and this is how corporate America does things. Like it or not but the Rams organization is a corporation with a sole intent to make money and work itself into a position to be in a better position. regardless of what city the Rams play in the organization will be looking to capitalize on the situation.
If they want to "work itself into a position to be in a better position" then maybe they should start by not being the worst team IN THE HISTORY OF THE LEAGUE.
This is how one of the organizations of a shitty tax exempt multibillion dollar "non-profit" monopoly conducts business with people that made a shitty deal. The only problem is that it's the NFL, and this is the Rams so no one gives a shit. If this had any real impact on the world then people would be bitching about it, and they would be allowed to write articles discussing just how much blatant fucking bullshit it was. Like exactly what happened in the article you quoted. The one that was going to supposedly hurt their feelings so bad that they and the NFL would stay gone forever, according to you. As if any of them give a single fuck.
"Sole intent to make money."
LMFAO
People buy sports teams when they have too much money, and not enough hobbies. No one buys a fucking sports team to make money, people need to start understanding this.
