Man I wish I could enjoy the vocals on a lot of these tracks more. The music rocks, but I can't get past the vocals.

Most of the singers are extremely talented, but most are tweaking the vocals to fit the genre. Check out the choruses by HoJo; he switches between growling and crooning:

Killswitch Engage is on the very edge of what I can tolerate and mostly because he does do some more stereotypical singing. Their cover of Holy Diver is pretty good. Five Finger Death Punch is another I like that's on the far end of tolerable. The songs I like are more hard rock than metal, but that's because I don't do those vocals.

EDIT: that song in particular (now that I've listened to it) is just a touch too screamy for me, but I wouldn't kick it off my playlist of it got recommended. I use Amazon Music, which I was recently told was "so lame" and "such an old person thing to use" (I'm 34, the other guy is 33) so I basically let it pick my playlist and only give it a thumbs down if I really never want to hear that stupid song again.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, I enjoy Babymetal. The singing is... Less than optimal but I can push through it.

It all started right here for me on KSE. My UPS Supervisor said check this band out (we share regularly) . Headbangers Ball Tour II; Lamb of God, Shadows Fall, KSE and God Forbid at the Cajun House maybe some AZ @Mojo Ram , AZ residents remember the venue. I also saw Jerry Cantrell (Degradation Trip Tour there)

Welp I could only find 2 tracks total on YT. However this should suffice. I guess they were a "super (unknown) group" as only one album was released. Just finished it at the gym right now and it felt INCREDIBLE with the flashback to 2007 when I first heard it

They have 2 albums, but Tommy Vex on the album you posted is a much better vocalist than the guy they got for the second album.
