Here's some older stuff from a band out of NY called 40 Below Summer. Loved these guys back in the day. The second song used to give my wife nightmares, lol. She wouldnt even let me play it and she likes heavy stuff.. That second breakdown at 2:10 though....too much for her. Tis my fave part :)

Not entirely sure if this is metal, but it's a song that's based on a fantastic cult classic movie, The Crow, and when I'm into writing a particularly-violent/sad/angry scene, this is the song I turn to:

Like them too only have Ashes of the Wake, but none of their songs are less than great.
You should own every album. I'm not your "qualified expert" album reviewer yet I would slam both of my fists down as gavels? Like judges use for every Lamb of God studio album in sheer appreciation and respect!

DOWN at Marquee Tempe AZ 2006 might be my most majestic concert ever. The first hour was an epic homage to every classic rock band and tribute to Dimebag of course. They still played for near 2 hours. All for $32 or something.
