Noteboom did not finish but 5 games in 2022 season before the IR. I would agree with you that Shelton is now playing as well as Corbin did @ RG.
JN was held out of all the preseason games this season. Gm. 1 against the Bills
JN injured his knee (MCL) again the same knee he has reconstructive surgery on in early Sept 2019.
Cooper Kupp and Ernest Jones were the highest grades players on their respective sides of the ball

JN was solid in the run game (73.3 run blocking grade), but struggled in pass protection (44.7). PFF.
Joseph Noteboom suffered a strained MCL in Thursday's loss to the Bills, but the Rams expect him to be active in Week 2.

So 1 wk into the 2022 season &
JN is hurt.
JN was questionable going into gm #2 Atlanta game. That was the last time
JN was mentioned on the injury list until the 6th gm when he tore his Achilles & placed on the IR.
From what I can find
JN's wk# PFF grade 77.2.
JN was the Rams’ highest-graded pass blocker along the line against the Cards. His 6 game 2022 overall PFF grade was a respectful 67.
Might want to recall he was also injured & sent packing to the
Injured Reserve when the Rams got to the 2021 Championship SB game.
JN only started 2 games in the 2021 regular season. Later
JN was injured again along with Whitworth, Rookie Jackson has to take
JN's starting post in the Vikings game. I agree that
JN is highly talented when on the field. The problem is he does not remain there often since 2019.
If I were to guess at this time about the 2023 starting OG's......Good chance again that both Shelton & Bruss will be fighting it out to start @ RG. I would expect Chandler Brewer & Matt Skura to be resigned. Thus Anchrum/ Brewer & Skura fight it out as to which one will start.
