How did you know I had a dozen old vehicles sitting on cement blocks without wheels out my front door?Say as you will Bonify’d. Pick yourself out of the JUNK YARD.
IMO it would be DUMB to reach for a ROOKIE in 2023. Look at Bruss.
Whitworth was one of The Best FA signings The Rams have ever had.Say as you will, but David Edwards being resigned would be like The Rams resigning Noteboom,Allen & Shelton.
The offense line should have been addressed the last couple season because of the 5(6) FA players. I don’t know, but I’m not drinking the Kool-aide right now. Just going through trying to salvage what is left.
You know best if Bobby Evans was still on the 2022 roster The Rams would be in trouble & have CRAP depth.
IMO It is very obvious to many that the Rams need an HD injection of HEALTHY young strong undamaged OL prospects. I know of no other path to accomplish savaging this OL other than the ultra-low-cost drafted rookies. Yes, I agree with you in hindsight the OL should have been addressed better in past drafts.
The Rams did address the Rams Ol this year (2022) with the 14 contracts given to Havenstein, Noteboom, Allen, Shelton, Brewer, Arcuri, Aboushi, Bruss, Skura, Cole Toner, Kolone, Pircher, Zac Thomas & Nsekhe.
The Rams current 5 starters' average age is 30 yrs old. The 5 current reserve OL'ers average 28 yrs old. So this OL unit is a veteran OL by NFL standards.
Would you not agree with this the OL needs a constant well blending of healthy drafted OL'ers with talent. How can you reasonably justify disagreeing with that suggestion when the Rams team continues to be short on salary funds to bring another all-pro Whitworth-like OL'er in here if there was one like him available?
I do not want Edwards ever starting @ OG for this Rams team.
I certainly do not see OL'er Bobby Evans as saving this Ram OL from anything in 2022. I have said he might be the best Ram OL'er when it come to maintaining his health.
