They need either a speed element or a size element in the backfield. In either case you get a RB that can make things happen at times on their own. Either by power or by speed to the outside. We have neither right now. In a perfect world one guy can do both, but special guys like that go way too high even in today's NFL.
That so FREAKING FALSE about The Draft!! I’m a long time draftnik & my concepts still rain through. I drink the Kool-Aide,but that’s because I believed in McSnead.
Now Les Snead & Mcvay’s draft picks are coming into play.If we go back to 2017 D.Cook,Cooper Kupp, & Kittles we’re player I would have drafted. That would have been a nice duo with Gurley, but Les Snead said at the time there was only 1 football. He has since had to change his logic.
Not to the point that he has learned or picked the best RB.
—Johnathan Taylor was a RB I wanted that feel to The Rams point of entry.
Now that Cam Akers doesn’t look like The RB of the future & T.Lewis got cut makes things real bad.
Tyler Badazz & K. Taylor vs. Lewis,Akers,Jefferson? Apple to oranges, but The Rams needed a star RB & a starting center IMO
Now the biggest question mark is Cam Akers.I thought because he was only 20/21 years old he had a long career & was going to get bigger & stronger. You never know so young ascending players in The NFL are not the way to go early.
