Ask Pats and Giants how one star WR rooms work out? Oh 3 wins? No thanks! We will prob be 6 range with that line up.This rings true to me. So what's the solution?
If we bring back a base WR room of Nacua / Whitt / DRob as you propose, draft a TE early with WRs later, will that be enough? The TE would help for sure but we'll still have a WR room that's subpar against man coverage.
I think his decline is having to Consistantly block o'linemen the entire game and its wearing him out. By the time they pass to him hes totally gassed in the 4th quarter.
Typo, but you know what I mean. This is not gonna bode well for this team. If Kupp is gone, So is Stafford. Then we have to deal with Jimmy pick6. 5 wins Max for a year and hope and pray we can get another Star WR and QB within 2 years.Well, if Cooper Kupp is blocking O-Linemen, THAT is a Problem for the Rams.
If You think Kupp is 'consistently blocking' D-Linemen for 'the entire game', I think You got a Problem.
Figured it was a typo. That's why I made the 2nd statement.Typo, but you know what I mean. This is not gonna bode well for this team. If Kupp is gone, So is Stafford. Then we have to deal with Jimmy pick6. 5 wins Max for a year and hope and pray we can get another Star WR and QB within 2 years.
This goes back to something I've said in other threads... I know the OP is about Stafford but not everything is on him.One simple reason why he had a QB rating of under 85. Puka being targeted every snap. They took Kupp completely out of the offense and had him block and pull defenders. Kupp, Wide open throw to Puka! Higbee, Wide open throw to Puka! Kyren, Wide open throw to Puka.
Have JW do what Kupp was doing this season, and Run with Puka and Kupp solely on Offense routes. We also have Higs out there now. Spread to all targets and we will be a problem.
I don't want Darnold.
I'm not the biggest fan of Jimmy G, but saying a McVay coached team with a rising D will only win 5 games is fuckin laughable as hell. Only way that would happen is if we get hit with a bad injury bugTypo, but you know what I mean. This is not gonna bode well for this team. If Kupp is gone, So is Stafford. I haven't written him off, but I think this camp will require him to win the backup job. This is because Bennett has always been a developmental QB2. So the question for him this offseason is whether that time on the roster is going to amount to anything that actually translates to the field. Meaning he should look good in preseason and impress in camp.I'm assuming we have all written Bennett off?

I don't think LaFleur is all that & a bag of chips. I think that's one change McVay needs to make. He's had the OC reins for 2 years, and we've been sub-par on offense for both seasons. We have red-zone issues, and those have never really been resolved.
Honestly, watching Stafford rip down the field twice in under 4 minutes, in PHI, in the snow, we know that he's not the problem. Nor Puka, nor Kupp. Where was all this production all year? I'd love to know who was calling the shots when BUF came to town.

What I want in that QB3 role is potential to start someday. Rams should be bringing in guys they can develop into the next QB1 or flip. Patriots did a great job of that under Belicheat.
I think we'd prob be around .500 with Jimmy G.I'm not the biggest fan of Jimmy G, but saying a McVay coached team with a rising D will only win 5 games is fuckin laughable as hell. Only way that would happen is if we get hit with a bad injury bug
We have Stafford, Kupp, Nacua, Kyren! That line up got 10 wins. You think Puka, JW, D-rob, Kyren and Jimmy is better and going to be near that in wins is mistaken! That line up minus Jimmy is well under .500 With Stafford. How is that Laughable? We only won and got out of a combined record of 2-7 in last 2 years WHEN KUPP RETURNED. Think about it. We struggled to get 10 with everyone back. When Puka is on the Field with no Kupp we avg 14 Pts a Game. With Kupp is near 24. We have a losing Record without Kupp.I'm not the biggest fan of Jimmy G, but saying a McVay coached team with a rising D will only win 5 games is fuckin laughable as hell. I also see where people have been posting that our o'line was top in Rushing blocking. Everywhere I look we were middle of the pack at anywhere from 12th to 17th. Thats our problem where Kyren got screwed. He was screwed before he even got off the line. Theres man problems that are not Kyren,Kupp and Stafford for sure. This goes back to something I've said in other threads... I know the OP is about Stafford but not everything is on him.

Prob Both Stafford and Kupp to be honest as a package.NY GIANTS ARE COMING HARD AFTER STAFFORD
Well, there's not a great one this year, Bob! (Unless the Rams spend all their cap on a guy like Higgins)This rings true to me. So what's the solution?
