Damn, looks like our QB position gonna be downgraded severly unless the Rams have something up their sleeve. This is looking bad. All I can say is send him to the highest bidder, fuck giving a player away that is a lights out QB in this league.

Interesting, seeing a lot of mixed reporting on him, one says he looked good, another that he looked bad. One says he's lackluster and neither good nor bad. Fowler just said draft need could push him into the 2nd... so there's that.

I know in years past there was grade inflation for QBs but we've had a few abysmal drafts for QBs to see the opposite: 2013 being the most recent, in that class QB inflation was only able to get EJ Manuel drafted in 1st round. Granted the league has changed since then but I suspect this draft class is closer to 2013 than than say 2018.

This truly seems like a historically bad QB class and I think teams are gonna roll the dice on getting a QB in rounds 2-3. That being said, I think what Payton did with Bo Nix was possibly the best coaching job any coach has ever done with a rookie QB and don't think he'd be seen as a successful QB if he had gone anywhere else (though, look at the games Payton got from his backups through the years). All you need is a few league guys to go, I think we can duplicate that and we're off to the races.

Even then, supposedly teams are stacking every QB in this class after Shedur behind Nix.

I could see him being a 2nd round pick, but not 3rd. Right now on the consensus big board which aggregates rankings across the net, he's at 39. It's not too far from there to a late 1st.

I saw that, but it didn't add any certainty to the situation, only more uncertainty.

I'm all for players getting their bag and Stafford has made a ton. Having said that coming from so much losing to actually winning games I don't understand sometimes where you say I've made a lot winning is what I want. You look at someone like Brady whom most of us dislike how many times did he put himself last for the good of the team? I know there's a lot of stat guys on here but please let me know hasn't Stafford just from football raked in the most money ever or like top 3?

Agree about the lack of certainty but I also took Schrader's 'No' as a repudiation of Cantor's post; and
that Schrader's comment ... 'Long time before that's (Stafford going elsewhere) decided.' was a further rebuke
of Cantor's post ... that Stafford 'might wear another uniform in the near future.'

Also, if Schrader is truly clued-in (I believe he and Jordan Rodrigue are) he is not going to provide certainty unless Stafford and/or the Rams WANT him to provide certainty. That's How you get UN-clued-in.

Yeah he has. If he's trying to ask for top dollar (highest paid type shit) because of respect and put the Rams in a financial bind, by all means fuck him. It's pure greed and ego at that point. This is off of spotrac. Like I said, pure fuckin greed. If you can't live off of that, you're a fucking dumb ass person with finances.

I hope you are right and this is nothing more than a scare, because we have a window opening that will slam shut without the right guy taking snaps. Right now we have that, but replacing #9 right now almost certainly means we won't.
