I don't say that it is all true - because no one on this board really knows but money changes many people. Could be that this new lifestyle and being set for his life might got to his head.
I think it's difficult to predict how people will handle these big deals. You're certainly hoping they work as hard or harder, but never truly know.

Hope thats not all true.. but not going to lie - it matches what I saw on the sidelines, from the reaction of mcvay and the whatever his name OC is....

the locker room respected wolford more does seem like a bit of a stretch however...
Can't remember what game it was late this season, but after a Goff turnover it mistake, he went to the sidelines and I believe O'connell had the iPad up trying to show him something and he completely ignored him and wouldn't look, and that's when I was done with Goff.

Then there is the other issue of Goff not being able to adjust well when defenses would change to a different look before the snap, which is another thing Goff struggled with and Stafford is supposedly good at....improvising.
The way I see it, is that I dont really care what Goff couldnt do or struggled with. Im just looking forward to what Stafford can do. I know its sounds kind of Captain Obvious-ish, but its true. Dont need to dwell on things. Next year is gonna kick ass. Akers will be a beast, Jefferson is gonna surprise some folks and Stafford is gonna flat out shred

I'm really excited to see what Jefferson can do. Wish we would've seen him more down the stretch than Reynolds.

Hmm idk not sure I buy all of that. I mean the guy who just traded for him would obviously be aware of this. I doubt he would tie his fate as a gm to someone like that as his first move. But who knows...

You're right, he definitely knows however Brad Holmes has a lot of leeway there as Detroit is in rebuild mode. Goff is a win/win situation for him; if he works out awesome, if he doesn't Goff is a bridge qb and they have draft ammo to trade or draft if necessary in two years.

This is really a fucking cheap shot, especially with him being out the door now, and looks like an attempt to simply smear him to justify the trade. I can believe the mobility thing because, duh, we knew he wasn't a mobile QB in the first place. If the Rams brass suddenly became disappointed with Goff over that, the problem is with them and letting their expectations get in the way of the reality we already knew.

I seriously doubt the locker room respected Wolford more. They were supportive when he had to play, sure, but Goff had done a lot for this team and I don't think they all just suddenly forgot about that.

On accountability, when McVay called him out after the 49er game, Goff agreed with him. And after the Super Bowl loss, he tried to take accountability for that, even though McVay admitted that he himself had been outcoached (and I think that was the bigger problem because he never adjusted to what the Patriots were doing). He's never been one to shy away from accountability.

I can see him being gun shy on taking chances with explosive plays, but then again, when you get Blythed up as often as he did, it probably fucks with your confidence.

Most of this is just a smear using the infamous "unnamed sources" by a piece of shit who's trying to get more clicks and more Twitter followers. Fuck him.

So, they give a young guy in LA a hundred million dollars, he finds a hot girlfriend, and we're surprised that he is distracted from work?

He found that hot girlfriend in 2018 some time before the bears game. He has seemed distracted ever since.

Yeah, this character assassination stuff is sickening. I dont know why there's a desire to tear people down when they've obviously been sent packing. And fuck Gottlieb. He got caught for being a piece of shit thief, and he seemingly just wants to take down as many folks as he can. Whether they deserve it or not

Whatever Goff’s problems are, no one knows the full story better than McVay. Goff’s problems are now Detroit’s problem.

Goff is not close to Stafford even in Stafford’s early career. He will never have a cannon like Stafford. He will never have that quick release.

It’s time to move on, Stafford is the Rams QB. Goff is a warrior fighting for one of the other 31 enemies.
