This is really a fucking cheap shot, especially with him being out the door now, and looks like an attempt to simply smear him to justify the trade. I can believe the mobility thing because, duh, we knew he wasn't a mobile QB in the first place. If the Rams brass suddenly became disappointed with Goff over that, the problem is with them and letting their expectations get in the way of the reality we already knew.
I seriously doubt the locker room respected Wolford more. They were supportive when he had to play, sure, but Goff had done a lot for this team and I don't think they all just suddenly forgot about that.
On accountability, when McVay called him out after the 49er game, Goff agreed with him. And after the Super Bowl loss, he tried to take accountability for that, even though McVay admitted that he himself had been outcoached (and I think that was the bigger problem because he never adjusted to what the Patriots were doing). He's never been one to shy away from accountability.
I can see him being gun shy on taking chances with explosive plays, but then again, when you get Blythed up as often as he did, it probably fucks with your confidence.
Most of this is just a smear using the infamous "unnamed sources" by a piece of shit who's trying to get more clicks and more Twitter followers. Fuck him.
