I'll say he keeps it.

There will be a feel good story about Stafford asking and Wolf handing it to him out of respect, saying the right thing and all that. "Was a big fan of his growing up." But there may be some money involved too.

Prediction out there. Let's watch it happen.

If not, I won't be crushed. Will just slap another number on him in PS.
I hope Stafford will take a new number for a new beginning. I say double it up to 18!

Glad to hear Goff is happy to go somewhere he’s wanted. He’s gonna need that positive demeanor going forward because every media head is going to rip him apart if he fails. He has a chance to prove he didn’t need McVay’s hand holding and I hope, for his sake, he can prove it.
I don't think communication had anything to do with it AJ. The Rams simply were not willing to ride the Jared Goff Get-Right Train any longer. His rope played out. Now if he's smart he'll rewind those areas he was coming up short and at the least get his basics down because I'll tell you right now if you don't read and see the field well in a rebuild situation you're in for some serious pain.

But I think this will be good for him. Goff's a good kid and I'm sure he's gonna learn a really important lesson here and maybe one that helps him get his career back on track.

Goff is expected to be a transition QB to get them o their next QB. After that he likely becomes another Bradford, unless he can fix what is holding him back. I don't think that what ails him is fixable.

MachS has been the man. Was gettin' tired of giving him so many "thread winner" emojis!
Btw I totally agree with your sentiments on Mr. Stafford becoming a Ram.

I've been giving you and MachS thread winners on all your posts too! :fistbump:

And yet Goff has a 7.5 y/a in his career and Stafford a 7.2 in his career with several years of the best WR in the last 20 years. We don't need to shit on any former players anymore we get it he was hated.
Lol shit on him. But y’all shitting on a Current Ram but Naw it’s not shitting on him at all. But when you talk about Goff and you talk about stafford you talk about them differently. So while ypa might say something it’s about air yards. Goff plays with two of the best yards after catch wrs in the nfl for the past 3 yrs. how many times have we seen Goff throw at the line of scrimmage for only for Kupp And Woods to go for 40 yards. It’s not a knock on Goff it’s just my statement. I feel like if we need to move the ball in chunk yards Stafford is the guy

Not shitting on him just pointing out the stats. I'm 100% behind Stafford and the Rams.

Stafford was sacked 38times last year to Goffs 23 they both have been behind some poor lines recently but I think the point of this trade was that Stafford routinely handles himself better in a collapsing pocket then Goff has shown. Maybe that’s experience or maybe that’s just something some qbs have that others don’t

Could be Stafford has had a dozen years of really bad lines and learned to adapt over time Goff has only had 2 bad years of OLine play. Running for your life seems to teach you things with a ball in your hand and Khalil Mack or Clay Matthews chasing you down to hurt you.

That’s true but I thought that was one of Goffs strengths coming out of College knowing how to navigate a pocket. Sometimes sacks are unavoidable and Goff has certainly had a lot of those with our weak center play but a lot of times he causes sacks himself then he makes it worse by fumbling.

Yeah I'm surprised he wasn't better after a relatively bad Cal team around him. I really think the 2019 OL left him shell shocked.

I agree! Honestly I feel like if we had a better center we wouldn’t be having this discussion in College Goff was a natural of “climbing the ladder” but Everytime he stepped up he was getting popped in the face I think that did the most damage to his progression then anything
