Fuck all this trade talk I need help...do you put raw chopped onions on a hot dog?
Can't argue with any of what you said. The front office has GOT to be better, our window isn't going to be open forever and these long term contract blunders put us in cap hell.I feel better after a nights sleep. I’m excited to see what McVay can do with Stafford. If he wants him, then I’m in. But we better be back to 30 points a game type offense and not the crap playcalling we saw this year. So I’m in and excited.
I just wish the FO would be better at giving contracts. So many self-inflicted wounds.
Why all the drops tho? He had Megatron for a lot of those years too.
I'm all for that.Having had a food truck a while back it's a personal preference most like the cooked red sauce onions but a lot of people like raw chopped onion and dozens of other crap. It's really all about you!
We used to get this one use that wanted a cheeseburger combined with a hot dog pickles ketchup mustard raw onion tomato etc. Turns out it was a thing and had to put it on the menu. A heart attack on a bun lol.
Actually no, its the opposite. Stafford currently takes up 8 mill more cap space than prior to the trade. So at the moment, there is less chance of re-signing anyone. The offloaded cap space from Goff's contract also helps add weapons and retain FAs. Now we can sign John Johnson III and Leonard Floyd to new deals without any cap ramifications this offseason.
He has to be four yrs or at least until the Rams can get a #1 to get the next guy.Stafford might be the best qb we've had though. And yes I'm one of those people who think Goff was mostly propped up by the system but that's just my opinion. I think we made a big upgrade at qb and stafford could be around another 4 years.
Probably because he is at the top of the league in pass attempts since they always seemed to ignore the run.Why all the drops tho? He had Megatron for a lot of those years too.
Were the other Detroit receivers just that bad?
Unfortunately based on what I have been reading, we are in worst cap hell that we were in before this trade for next year.
I just don't see any possibility in retaining Flory or Johnson.
I have been wrong before so hopefully I am wrong again this time.
I did not think we were going to sign Stafford since he is getting up there in age and has a hurt back and is at best just slightly better than Goff with his passes.
Bruhhhh...we're avatar twinsies now. I'll take the hit and find another. I think I got one waiting in the wings.
This is my Lions fan buddy was saying. Outside of the Calvin Johnson years this is probably Stafford's best wide receiver core he's had this past year. Galloday has really came on and may get really big money. Marvin Jones is 31 or 32 but can still fly and that would be a reasonable pickup.Stafford has been a stud, an absolute gunslinger. Never had much around him besides Megatron. He also has 2 teammates that are FAs this year WRs Marvin Jones and Kenny Golloday or something like that. Could see one following him and they offer deep threats.
I switched it up to this one. Not the greatest by any means but I'm sure we'll have some good options come training camp time.Haha o shit really ??? Lets flip a coin for it lol. Someone's gotta have some new media out already I can change too. I only saw the one photo so far
You may be right but we weren't able to sign both Brockers and Saffold because of cap hell."We" have been in this supposed cap hell for years now. I read a lot of other teams' message boards for entertainment purposes. All their fans say their team is in this "cap hell." Even though we never really see "cap hell" really hinder a team's ability to sign/cut/trade players.
It's really funny to me. On one hand everyone makes fun of teams like Washington or Miami that notoriously sign these gaudy FA contracts or recently the Rams giving players large extensions yet on the other hand a team is applauded for having cap space. Like isn't that the point of having spending money???
You can't sign or trade for a guy because OMG CAP SPACES.
And you can't spend the money you do have because they are "stupid contracts".
The double standard is real. Just win man. Sorry went off on a tangent there.
Amen. We cannot continue to weather these blunders with contracts and draft capital. Can't argue with any of what you said. The front office has GOT to be better, our window isn't going to be open forever and these long term contract blunders put us in cap hell.
Those stats are eye popping
You may be right but we weren't able to sign both Brockers and Saffold because of cap hell.
The Rams have proven that they can work around the cap so we have room to sign a FA or two but they are usually one year guys.
However, I doubt we will be able to sign Floyd or Johnson because of this cap hell.
