I’m writing this down! There is nowhere to get a good hot dog around here and I’ve fallen in love with cooking them in the air fryer so now I’m trying different toppings

Must say Natural casing.

I actually had to send an email to Hoffy to find out where I can find them here in So Cal.
We have Smart & Final and Smart & Final Extra out here.
Smart and Final Extra carries them, but Smart and Final doesn't.
Some Albertson's out here also have them.

I love the air-fryer for dogs and sausages as well.

From someone whose team has been playing Stafford for years. Other than the loss of the 1st round picks, which I think was too much, the Rams will come out ahead of this deal initially. Stafford is a good QB that never had a decent Defense to help him. I think if the Rams can maintain their defense next year, they will have a good shot at the SB.
I'm curious. Straight up with no picks involved, Stafford or Cousins?

I feel better after a nights sleep. I’m excited to see what McVay can do with Stafford. If he wants him, then I’m in. But we better be back to 30 points a game type offense and not the crap playcalling we saw this year. So I’m in and excited.

I just wish the FO would be better at giving contracts. So many self-inflicted wounds.

We will keep on pumping fifth round draft picks and overpriced, short-term free agents into the defense, after we get out from under our eight-digit salary cap deficit.

Ok, that one interception.

Goff wasn't late on cooks deep earlier in the game? If he throws that ball .25 seconds sooner, rams probably win.

Goff 2 Cooks 1

Listen.

I love Goff. I really do.

But this forum blows my mind.

Like Stafford isn't way frikken better in every possible way.

Case in point:

That's impressive stuff and no doubt Stafford's arm talent will be something to behold.
That said, those no look passes in games that you lose by 21 are fine for 5-11 teams, it's what Stafford will do in tight games that will define his Rams career

I'm starting to see the rationale of the pick now. Not only do we get a quarterback that opens the playbook more but his stats show that he could handle pressure better. I've been critical of Goff's performance under pressure and it is garbage in that category. Also good awareness on McVay wanting to maximize his output in the QB position while Donald is still putting up elite production; Stafford now offers more than upside but Goff had long-term potential.

The offloaded cap space from Goff's contract also helps add weapons and retain FAs. Now we can sign John Johnson III and Leonard Floyd to new deals without any cap ramifications this offseason.

That's the same look McVay would give Fossil last season.

Hope this turns out better.

I saw that yesterday somewhere on twitter and honestly it's funny but someone with an education in psychology not that you need it to interpret that picture but yes he could be thinking about a million things but that look right there is self explanatory. The saying is what "a picture is worth a thousand words" that's intense.

The more I think about it, the more I like it. The Rams now have a passing game that garners respect. They already have a running game.
It keeps Stafford away from SF. I know Washington offered more, but who knows what may happen last minute. If Houston decides to trade Watson, it boosted the price way up. Who knows what's happening with Rodgers. He could end up in SF. Without Stafford, we wouldn't be able to compete. We couldn't beat them with their 2nd string qb. Like other posters have said, it says 1st rounders, but in reality it's almost the same as 2nd rounders.

I can see the Rams in the NFC championship game. GB isn't going to have that same type season. NO is not going to be as good. I can't foresee the future, but I don't see any team better. We got our guy.

Unfortunately based on what I have been reading, we are in worst cap hell that we were in before this trade for next year.

I just don't see any possibility in retaining Flory or Johnson.

I have been wrong before so hopefully I am wrong again this time.

I did not think we were going to sign Stafford since he is getting up there in age and has a hurt back and is at best just slightly better than Goff with his passes.

Ha... how many times did I say I was done with the Rams but was right back in the saddle the following year. Can count on one hand at least. I can't escape them alive. They're like the mafia. Rams Mafia.

Usually my wanting to quit had to do with losing, or constant losing, or horrible players, silly ass coaches, bad ownership, or embarrassing losses that weren't the character of a winning team.

Why, I actually did the unthinkable during the Spazz-Popeye years and went to the Colts board as I thought about switching teams. That didn't last. I was very soon back for more misery with the Rams during the forgettable Fisher years.

So to jump off because of a trade??? That's not only crazy but just a little premature.

First controversial QB big news pickup I was a part of... the Rams getting Joe Namath. For pre-social media explosions, that was a crazy offseason. And... it didn't work out the way we wanted it. Namath did not lead the Rams to the promised land as expected by some.

Stafford is a whole new ballgame here. He's still got game, still in his prime, or very close to it, and there are probably at least 5 good years ahead for him.

Prediction: Rams win 2 Super Bowls in Stafford era.

Then again I was against the Cam Akers pick at first until I started reading what he could do.

Maybe reading more into Stafford will help me grow into the trade.

It's just I do respect my co-workers opinion of Stafford and he wanted to get rid of him a few years ago.
