Will Kupp be here....I wonder now. I love the guy, just wonder with his buddy being sent out if things change for him here. I sure hope they don’t.
We have more money now. NFL Network is saying that Detroit took all of Goffs contract and Stafford only costs us like 24 million over 2 years...

It’s the most important position by far. We didn’t have it. Now we do.

It is a high price. It is.

It title or bust.
Pretty much where I'm at. I do like Stafford, but hate the trade. But it is title or bust, or else people are going to drag our balls through a canyon of shattered glass for this trade.

How in the fuck do we give up the QB ten years younger AND give up not one but TWO FIRST ROUND PICKS. Unbelievable.

Fixed the cap, got a QB that can win it all and is proven to be able to do things Goff can’t.

I'm just going to say it.

Wish we hired Shanahan! Dude is a better offensive coach anyways. Plus he's called plays for 2 different Superbowl teams.

I really wanted Shanahan too, but McVay is still a top coach in this league. He and Snead are innovative to say the least.

THIS may be a massive part that will really help.

I didn't realize Detroit was taking the guarantees.

That changes things a bit...

This is huge. Holmes owed Snead a favor after taking Agnew with him.

This trade was the direct result of horrid cap management and sharp regression from Goff.

Am I the only one who could see Goff was too mentally slow to run McVay’s offense at full potential? We paid him too soon and this is the result. There was no way to get under the cap without cutting massive contracts.

I will guarantee this at least, Goff will never win a SB in Detroit.

Nope. I suggested a few weeks ago that Goff is a slow processor. It seemed that way the last two years. Goff made McVay’s job harder on offense. By year three he should have this offense down pat instead of not seeing open receivers and throwing into coverage instead.

I never liked the early contracts that they gave out. Every one has blown up in their faces. The cap relief is huge.

Also I’m glad to see that Snead andMcVay not only got out in front of this QB market with so many good teams looking to snap one. If they hadn’t moved first, then they get stuck giving up more as the competition would be steeper. Plus they beat Shanahan to the punch. It’s likely Stafford is who they preferred.

Well, we definitely need to spend a lot of the remaining draft capital on interior Oline. Stafford is a statue in the pocket like Kurt was...

This may give us the cap room to figure out Larry Warford or Brandon Scherff or maybe even Corey Linsley...

Burying the lead a bit.
The Rams have now rosters the 1st and 2nd overall picks from the 08, 09 and 10 draft.

Killing it!

I don't hate the trade, think they overpaid sure, but I do like Stafford. 31 4th quarter comebacks. That's a guy who knows how to win.

Does Stafford stay healthy behind our OL for 17+ games next year? 33 next week and many injuries on his resume. Yikes.

My total Fantasy football and gambling friend sent to me this point........

Stafford ALWAYS goes much higher than Goff in his fantasy drafts.

I don't do Fantasy but I believe the guy.

I figured this had to be a big part of it.
If they were happy with Goff’s play it wouldn’t have happened.
I wonder if the wonderboy Snead will learn having to trade away three of his big (bad) contracts in a row??
Somehow, I think he is too arrogant.

We just got trade-raped. I'm so angry. I'm not sure I can continue rooting for this team.

I dont understand where this helps the cap this year. Goff still hits for 22 mill, Stafford another 10 mill
