Congrats on being one of the few people I've blocked. Gotta say, you made a lot of effort to earn it. So congrats, kudos, well-done and all that. I don't have the patience to argue with you any more.
I blocked that dude too lmao

We just got trade-raped. I'm so angry. I'm not sure I can continue rooting for this team.

I feel the same. While Stafford might be a slight upgrade, how the freak are you giving 2 1st round picks for him???
I could see that for Watson but not stafford
Look at his career stats, they are barely better than Goff’s.
Snead if this is accurate you’re an idiot.
We will have a first round pick in 5 3 years. Awesome.

Giving up a first and a third to get rid of a QB who is winning is an unspeakably dumb decision, unless you replace him with a QB who wins a Super Bowl. They went all in on Stafford to win a Super Bowl. If he doesn't do that in the next two or three years, this deal was a failure of epic proportions. And god help this franchise if Goff actually plays well in Detroit (which doesn't look likely with all their WRs being free agents, but you never know).

He'll be chewing up a few kneecaps after being sacked. He'll be throwing against air pretty soon.

Couples of thoughts....
1). McVay is jealous of Goff’s physical stature. Feels he’d be a SB winning WB with them.
2). McVay played in Georgia and has a man crush on his idol Stafford(????)
3). Sneed may feel overly qualified on player development after his 8 years of youth league soccer play.
Just spit balling .... likely way off...sorry for my snarkiness

Go Rams( please baby Jesus)
Go Stafford (please baby Jesus)
Go Rams

If we can get 4 good years out of Stafford, we can get another QB on a rookie deal......sounds good (takes another hit on the crack pipe)

I'm having trouble seeing how Stafford improves the Rams' offense enough to win a Super Bowl. I'm not even certain he will improve it at all.
A qb who can read a defense and make plays vertically 100 percent helps us. We have everything stafford needed in detroit. Especially competent coaching

If this is in fact true I may just take a year off. We just downgraded at QB and gave up 2 first for the privilege of getting shit on by Sneads former pupil.

I'll meet you somewhere with a bottle of bourbon. We're gonna need it.

I saw a rumor that Detroit might flip him to Indy. If that happens, oh boy, McVay and Snead could end up looking very, very bad.

I have suffered as a fan through so much bad football. We finally had things going our direction, and they do this. I just can't. I think I might be done with this team. I've enjoyed talking football with y'all for all these years. I'm sorry, y'all, I just can't anymore.

See you in September

Best of luck to Goff.

Don't get this bullshit at all.
McVay and Goff must have really been at each other behind the scenes.

I don’t think Stafford is a downgrade at all.
But giving up multiple high picks for a 32 year old QB??
Does it help get the Rams out of impending cap hell??
Outside of that doesn’t make a lot of sense and makes me think McVay—Martz comparisons may be closer than I wanted to believe.

Will Kupp be here....I wonder now. I love the guy, just wonder with his buddy being sent out if things change for him here. I sure hope they don’t.

Hmmm. Snead has traded away all our firsts.

His next big trade will have to be for something like five 2nd round pics? (lol)

Dude, I TRULY hope you're right.

Watching the highlights, he does kinda look like an upgrade... hasn't been my experience, but at this point... it's done.

I'm pissed and flummoxed because my intuition and patterns both had us getting Watson.

Maybe the Texans are making it clear they're gonna force Watson to hold out and the Rams moved with extra because apparently the Washington offer was better... so maybe Holmes did US a solid.

I dunno...

Yea I was right there with you brother. I had a strong feeling we would be moving on from Goff based on McVay recently. And all the Ramsey talk had me leaning toward Watson too. I'm sure we kicked the tires but it would've cost too much. But getting rid of Goff's contract will help us in future years big time.

Once the pain dissipates in a lot of people I truly hope they realize how good Stafford has been. And they watch the film and use their eyes instead of just listen to other posters who use W/L stats to build a case against him. They'll see how great his arm talent is. How great of a leader he is. How smart he is. How competitive he is. Been following the dudes career for a long time and always been a huge fan.

Pairing him with McVay will result in a huge bounce back for the offense. There's a reason Shanahan wanted Stafford too. He's going to be a monster for us.
