Among other things this is the last piece in a total admission of failure for the Rams front office in giving big contracts to Gurley, Cooks, and Goff. How much dead cap have we now eaten?
Will they ever? Next up are the Woods and Kupp contracts1. They shouldn't have extended Goff, why did they do it? Please learn from that mistake
Stafford is a solid QB.Step off the cliff fellas. No sense going ape shit over it until you see the final product on the field
We really don't have enough choices for reaction emojis. I need a GOD DAMN I HOPE YOU'RE RIGHT one for this comment...
And your point is?Well obviously the FO didn’t agree with folks on here in keeping Goff. #Facts
When the Rams oline still sucks, Whitworth retires, there's no cap room, and Stafford is no better than Goff, we'll see how easy it is to watch the 1s round come and go without a Rams pick
We could be better for a couple of years, but we got fucked.
You seriously trust McVay's judgement? He's the one that wanted Goff to get his big extension and chose no QB to back him up. So he'll love Stafford, until he doesnt. Which could be 3 years, 3 games, 3 minutesAnd McVay obviously feels the same way. He's been in QB purgatory in Detroit with no running game his entire career and shit coaching. Him and McVay are going to shred teams.
There has to be more to thus story. If you substitute ‘Watson’ for ‘Stafford’ in this deal and it would have made sense. But as is WTF!!! Snead better get himself ready for some serious barbecuing. He better have more to this story.Stafford is only a slight upgrade over Goff. I am confused by this. If it was for Watson, I’d be ecstatic, but not for Stafford. Goff must have really done something to get on McVay’s shit list.
