Sean McVay when he finally has a first round pick to use in the draft

We really don't have enough choices for reaction emojis. I need a GOD DAMN I HOPE YOU'RE RIGHT one for this comment...

Stafford is an absolute stud man. I know some well respected posters around here tried to use stats etc. to say he's not better than Goff. I couldn't disagree more.

Use the film. Use your eyes. He's been a top QB in this league for 8-10 years now of great play. Has a WAAAAAYYY better arm than Goff and most of the NFL for that matter.

And McVay obviously feels the same way. He's been in QB purgatory in Detroit with no running game his entire career and shit coaching. Him and McVay are going to shred teams.

To start I am not a big fan of the trade, Although next year we now start Stafford over Goff and now have some cap space which is a 1 year net gain.
Root for another team Puhlease...That will never happen. RAMS First and NFL Football second.
As a 57 year old lifelong fan having suffered through years of bad teams and Bad FO's with a move across the country,
This certainly isn't chasing me away

We could be better for a couple of years, but we got fucked.

We will have better QB play there's no doubt about that. And not only that Stafford is in the best situation he's been in in forever. His play will get better under McVay too.

Losing two 1st round picks hurts but they will be picks 37-32 likely so not the end of the world. We've been killing it with our mid round picks lately.. rounds 2-5.

PLAYERS > PICKS 100% of the time

Giving up a first and a third to get rid of a QB who is winning is an unspeakably dumb decision, unless you replace him with a QB who wins a Super Bowl. They went all in on Stafford to win a Super Bowl. If he doesn't do that in the next two or three years, this deal was a failure of epic proportions. And god help this franchise if Goff actually plays well in Detroit (which doesn't look likely with all their WRs being free agents, but you never know).

You seriously trust McVay's judgement? He's the one that wanted Goff to get his big extension and chose no QB to back him up. So he'll love Stafford, until he doesnt. Which could be 3 years, 3 games, 3 minutes

Stafford is only a slight upgrade over Goff. I am confused by this. If it was for Watson, I’d be ecstatic, but not for Stafford. Goff must have really done something to get on McVay’s shit list.
There has to be more to thus story. If you substitute ‘Watson’ for ‘Stafford’ in this deal and it would have made sense. But as is WTF!!! Snead better get himself ready for some serious barbecuing. He better have more to this story.
