Good question, how many were free agent/traded backs are there? I know Lesean Mccoy, Mark Ingram & Lamar Miller have done well.
After being traded to Tennessee he had a monster year, I'll happily take the same from Fournette. He tore up his knee the year after and then retired
Also keep in mind that Henderson struggled in pass pro, where Fournette allegedly excels. I've already said Rams need another RB in the stable, would be essential IMO to have a guy with history of success versus another wild card.
They can make the cap space if they want the player. Its 4 million, not 40 million. Its reported that he hasnt been traded, who knows what they want and what's been offered? Clearly if they were offered what they want he'd be gone but if that price is a 1st round pick?
And who's picking up the 10 mill option? The post of mine you quoted suggests why they should decline it, and why it makes sense to do so. Its not a waste of a pick if he plays 1 year and ends up bringing back a comp pick
