C'mon Les, put us out of our misery this offseason and do the big signing. We can all say how great a signing it was after a great year and that we ALL supported it 100% at the time...

Next year we can scream about re-signing Fournette!

I'd take any kind of news on his current attitude with the jags with a grain of salt. As what was spewed out all over the media, the jags screwed over the players financially. NOONE wants to be there.

If this is true, i doubt the rams go after him. Who knows at this point tho. That Jags team is a friggin dumpster fire.
I just read after they cut Lee today 9 of the 22 starters from that afc championship game are still on the team. One is Yannick another is Fournette. I also am taking the character hits with a grain of salt. There is animosity there so it’s fine to question these but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a grain of truth either. I’d still rather draft a RB.

OK, we need to find a bellcow running back. But.......they are not as hard to find as one might think. Its all about the O line and scheme really. Draft young and cheap ones and if they want to re sign at a reasonable price fine. If not cut bait and draft a new one.
We should have let both Gurly and Goff go another year before paying them. It is a business after all and I am all for resigning home grown talent. But have a limit.
IMO a good team should spent a top 3 pick on the O line just about EVERY year. Keep them big talented guys coming. Look at the old Rams rosters before free agency(it was better) Really good O linemen were always on the bench waiting for a shot.

I like his potential as a player. I chimed in that I’d endorse it.

But you can’t build A TEAM with that attitude. And... that’s kind of important. It’s a team sport. (y)

If he’s a dink, I’d pass.

I'd be skeptical of things coming out of Jax right now. Remember what a "problem child" Fowler was. Ended up that they had fined him hundreds of thousands of dollars in contravention of the CBA. The FO poisoned a lot of the relationships with the young players on that team (Ramsey refused to even play). And they've been doing damage control since.

I’ve yet to see a Jags fan say they love the player. They all love the guy just not the player.

I have been hard pressed to see a player say one good thing about the FO and ownership in Jville.

Just go read today Yannick's harsh Twitter war with Shad Khan's son is is brutal.

I used to put stock in losing alot of starters over a couple years...then I realized that we lost 8 starters on our defense from 9 months ago. Now im ok with it.

So that makes Fournette a better player? Cause the old man is a relic of yesteryears and can't handle players today that makes Fournette worth the money he'll command next year or the draft pick to trade for him? I couldn't give 2 shits about him and Khan or his kid. Fournette on the field per Jags fans is just another guy. Great guy off the field but on the field not worth the money and never lived up to his draft pick.

Now imagine losing that many on offense and defense which isn't even accounting for special teamers.

Wait a sec. We did lose 8 on defense but only 2 on offense. So who lost more? I think we're number one this year for starters if you include special teams

First off he is in his 4th year of 5 year deal so he has 2 years left on his rookie deal. Read the thread.

My response was about that almost every major star on the team wants out it wasn't just one as mentioned in the previous thread. Again read the post of the poster in the threads take.

What, the 4th pick in the draft doesn't live up to what his draft status was are you serious? He is top 4 as a RB of all RBs a hair behind #3 and BTW since you probably didn't read all the other posts in the thread, the almost 1700 yards he ran for last year was in 15 not 16 games so applying his numbers to a 16 game schedule he would be third. He is fantastic in pass protection and dominated with 76 catches out of the backfield. He was Jville's offensive weopon.

He is 25 and his next two years barring injuries he will ball out and we will have a combo of Steven Jackson/Todd Gurley with LF.

I've read the thread and I'm familiar with his contract. Not sure what that shot has to do with anything.

As for the bolded he's nowhere near either one of those guys at his best unless it's them at their very worst then they're still better than LF.
