A couple hours ago their are rumors that Fournette is on the trading blocks.

This is a trade I would be all over if I am Snead. I don't know how we make it work, but to me he is the perfect fitting RB for the Rams.

Fournette had his best statistical year last year with over 1152 yards rushing and a 76 catches for 522 yards out of the backfield. Being almost 230 lbs he is a inside the tackle runner as well as a strong goal line runner. Perfect compliment to Henderson.

Draft wise this would be amazing, because it is one area that must be addressed with one of our 6 picks and by taking him he eliminates that scenario with a proven commodity vs a maybe.

He is young 3 years in the league didn't get overused at LSU like Jonathan Taylor has at Wisconsin averaging over 300 carries per season. We would only need to pay him just a little over 4m a total win win.

Guys he has a combined almost 1700 yards from scrimmage. McVay would love this guy. You get him out of the Jville sewer no one wants to be there and put him with McVay he could have a couple seasons of 2000 combined yards. Truthfully he is literally the perfect solve for us and takes away from worrying about how our RVs will fare to being a great combo top tier RB duo in the league.

Not a fan. He has always seemed to be a head case. I am sure he is on the block as the team is tired of his act.

I understand, but a better system with our HC and diversity of leaders we have on both sides of the ball will be great for him. Most of all look at this guy he a between the tackle runner a monster catching the ball he had 76 catches last year, strong on goal line and remember Jville sucked hence why they are drafting 9th.

Seriously with Leonard Fournette the Rams offense will soar once again we just need to address the OL.

at what price? Unless this is a one year rental his 5th year option is over 10mil. if we could flip haven stein for him then I could see that fitting the cap.

Seems like a very interesting thought but it would seem to be a pretty difficult salary cap hurdle.

A team with limited draft capital and is over the salary cap right now is going to trade a pick(s) for a RB who will have a base pay over $4 million and wants more who also is injury prone and hasn't really performed well? Hard pass just draft a cheap guy.

Often injured one-year expensive rental doesn't make any sense to me. Henderson, Brown and a fresh cheaper draft pick works.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Jaguars have had trade discussions with other teams regarding RB Leonard Fournette.
Fournette is due $4.16 million in base salary in 2020. Last season marked the first instance of Fournette's career that he didn't miss multiple games. The result was plenty of production, as the former No. 4 overall pick posted season-long 265-1,152-3 rushing and 76-522-0 receiving lines. Of course, things usually didn't come easily. He ranked 39th in success rate among 45 qualified backs (Football Outsiders), and his average of 5.2 yards per target was higher than only Tarik Cohen among 38 players with triple-digit targets. Fournette possesses big-play ability and plenty of power, but it's a stretch to call him a reliable three-down back.

.

Look at the bolded part. He's ineffective.

A malcontent hurt bag.. Never
You call 1700 total yards on a crap team from scrimmage a mal content. Maybe you would be a mal content if you were on Jville - all your top players gone or want out in the case of Yannick. Campbell, Ramsey, Foles gone almost all top players want out seems toxic to me. The Rams are not toxic just the opposite. We want to win and we have a Franchise and HC who want that. Players respect winning all their lives they were pretty much the best and then to go to a losing environment just to collect a check. Money is great but that is not the only reason they play football and winning is a huge part of it.

Why not just draft a younger, cheaper, and - likely - better running back? That back and Henderson would be a solid one-two punch.

Look at 1152 yards rushing and 76 CATCHES receiving - I take him over Tarik Cohen (less than 900 total yards) I dare to say so wouldn't everyone else. That almost 1700 yards of total production for Fournette. BTW that was for 15 games so otherwise he should be over 1850 yards for the 2019 season that would make him a top 5 back in the league on a terrible team with multiple QBs last year and a unhappy locker room.

LF is huge steal if we can get him. Also you think Swift (probably no chance of drafting) or Taylor or Dobbins would REMOTELY co e anywhere near LF production I seriously doubt it.

Most of all we do not need to hope our pick is the right RB pick. Henderson was a trade up to the top of the third if I remember correctly and to me he sucked. So if we go for a RB that means we can't upgrade an another area.

Are you serious he was a top 5 pick in the draft. There is NO back this year in his league. Like I will keep saying almost 1700 yards from scrimmage last year and that was 15 games.

Why because like I said he is a PROVEN commodity. We don't know if who we draft will be anywhere Vin the same stratosphere as LF. He a top 5 RB in total yards. Top 4 in rushing as a RB and top 4 in total yards.

Bullshit one year. Not to mention light tread on him no season with 300 carries either in Jville or LSU.
prior to last year

2018 missed 6 games to injury
2017 missed 2 games to injury
2016 last year at LSU. Missed 6 games to injury.

not exactly an Ironman. Not to mention incidents of weight gain and conditioning during his career.
