I would definitely say no jrry. This is the type of option a team can take a shot at when they're not in the window where we are, i.e. over the cap by $6M and still needing to sign the last amazing veteran talent Snead went and got from Jax.I love Zack Moss in the third, but Fournette gives us a proven HB on third downs and a guy who had the physical talent to go top 5 as a HB. The man was being compared to Adrian Peterson and Bo Jackson back then. Yes, he hasn't produced like that, but the Jaguars haven't given him a lot of help. If we could trade Everett and a 6th for Fournette, would you say no?
Sure, Fournette could prove to be an average HB. But with McVay and (hopefully) better blocking, he might explode like Jerome Bettis, Marshall Faulk, Ricky Williams, Marshawn Lynch, etc. after they were traded. (In fact, if you look at Marshawn Lynch's time in Buffalo, it was a lot like Fournette's time in Jax.) I think it's a risk worth taking if the price is right.
If I'm in the GM role my goal is to round out the by committee backfield. We have a quick back who is well rounded with some pass catching ability and an ideal fit for this offense in Hendy. I'd be after a replacement for Brown, a power back who can soften a defense up and allow for eating clock when we're in that mode with (hopefully) a good lead. He could also eat carries when needed which is where Brown came up short the past two seasons. Tons of options for that role and can be had with cheap picks on into UDFA range but I'd be after Kelly/Dillon or if McVay is hell bent on another good fit type there's guys like Darius Anderson who is a fantastic fit and will be on the board a long time.
This RB class is crazy IMO. Here's a full game of Darius' from last year vs a good Ohio St defense:
