Roger Craig had 37 fumbles in 8 seasons with San Fran or 4.6 per season
Kyren has 8 fumbles in 3 seasons, 2.7 fumbles per season
Well, Kyren hardly played in his rookie year. And missed 4 or 5 games last year. So not exactly an accurate comparison. Plus, I believe he fumbled 6 times this year, at least that's what I heard on the radio about Williams. So Living in the hear & now, it's a problem.

Despite all of that, my comment was not about comparing him to Roger Craig. I was just pointing out how fumbling can be a huge concern as it killed Cleveland Gary's career.

He has 8 fumbles in 2 + seasons. Craig had 8 fumbles in 1 season when he was named offensive player of the year.
It’s not ideal, but it’s awfully overblown

What in THE fuck? Do you guys somehow find this fun? Holy fucking kindergarten Batman.

Do I really have to lock this thread or ban you guys from it or can you just drop it and move on?
Can we ban them until tomorrow for the GDT? I’m tired of these three challenging my superior football knowledge… (No blue font needed!)

Well, for their careers, they both avg 4 fumbles per 17 game season, according to Pro football reference.

Kyren has had his mishaps but he is a stellar -and I mean STELLAR pick up blocker as well as a very good RB. There aren’t many RBs with his production that also keep his QB clean like he does. He’s as much of a complete back as you can get without the game breaking ability. We really haven’t had that combination since Faulk. And frankly, comparing him to Faulk is a tough comparison. Faulk is a golden jacket RB for a reason.

So yeah. Re-sign him. Get yourself a game breaking RB to compliment him but keep Kyren.

Far enough, but did you see Kyren Williams fumble I believe late in the first half ? Parkisian recovered it ? I don’t know which way the Ref ruled it ? Kyren was saying he was down,it didn’t matter. In fact I believed they brought the ball back a yard,so it actually hurt The Rams.
—Point being word games or not Kyren Williams fumble the ball.If you go back, and watch the play you should see that it’s out.If course it’s a judgment play.

Looked at the box score to make sure if the call, and it wasn’t ruled a fumble ? That’s always interesting now a days with newer replay rules. If the Vikings recovered the football IMO it would have been ruled that way, because they can review that ? Other wise it penalizes that team(vikes).

The one Kyren Williams sort got hurt on he made sure his knee was down. That was Freaking Scary.WoW - his legs and knees bendythe way they were & then bodies falling on you ??Not good, but Kyren does have fumbling issues.

Kyren being aware and seeing it on tape will only help the issue. It’s not always an easy task,so I hope that doesn’t become an issue.

We can always believe it’s not going to be a prot. What I know is it is a problem. The hope is it doesn’t hurt The Rams.

A small RB that has no breakaway speed, gets banged up, and literally has the worst ball security in the league (EDIT: with the fumbles usually coming at back breaking moments).... does that sound like someone you want on your roster for anything but a very good value contract? Not to me. See what his financial asks are when his deal is up. 99% chance we should walk.

Let him play out next year, franchise him if we want to keep him, or let him walk if we don't. I'm tired of the fumbles. You can't do that shit when you're not a big play threat. He's a good HB who contributes a lot to this offense, but he's not elite. We should draft a HB in the middle rounds this year and see if we can find somebody better.

He's the Jared Goff of QBs. Shines when the lights aren't on and falls apart in big games.

Every. Fucking. Game.

I hope to never see him have another carry as a Ram.

Tired of this shit.

And you know it changed McVay playcall on 3rd and 2 at the end that turned into a sack.

I'm 100% done with him.

I'm done with him, but I don't think our opinion matters. McVay doesn't tolerate this type of stuff - when we lose in a playoff game, McVay attacks the reason we lost or why our season wasnt successful.

This is likely to be a Kyren and a 7th for a 2026 6th rounder type of trade, whether we like it or not.
