He had good blocking on some of those but also he looked really fast really elusive and very quick hitting those holes and creases.Good enough to push Malcolm Brown & Justin Davis into the #3 & 4th RB depth chart.
I don't follow college football that much, (just Clemson and the real USC) but I posted on here after the draft;The way John Kelly ran in college is translating to the NFL.
The Rams got a gem drafting this kid :yess:

I would still tell Kelly that he has Hall of Fame potential.For one year, Zac Stacy was damn good. Tre Mason was damn good. Kelly will not be Gurley. Gurley has hall of fame potential.
I agree totally. Now by halfway through the season i see him a chance to surpass Brown by ability and touching up on his random skills and knowledge that isnt so apparent.I think Brown will start out getting the reps as the # 2 at first based on blocking and the smaller things.
Soul do you order your Kool Aid by the keg or just case 30 pack it?I would still tell Kelly that he has Hall of Fame potential.
Now that would be a Back Field.
Two potential Hall of Famers.
Positivity and hoping he believes in himself is not Kool Aid.Soul do you order your Kool Aid by the keg or just case 30 pack it?:rolllaugh:
SS, Please have that same talk with Mannion.Positivity and hoping he believes in himself is not Kool Aid.
I remember that long talk I had with Kurt Warner right after Trent Green had his knee tore up;
I said Kurt, "What if I told you that YOU are going to be better than Trent and take the Rams to a Superbowl this year !?!".
And look what happened.
