If Hoyers 3 TD’s and 1 int.is horrible , what does Goff’s 3 points , 2 ints. , and 3 fumbles qualify under ?
Did I mention Hoyer drove them into easy field goal range , but a Hall of Famer shanked it.
Talk about a poor example.
Of course, we ended up with Bulger (who was actually decent when he had a good OL) because people so eagerly and zealously ran Kurt Warner out of town as soon has he had a rough patch (which still pissed me off, because I knew he wasn't finished, and lo and behold, he took a shit franchise like the Cardinals to within inches of a Super Bowl title).
Of course, this is what a large portion of the Rams fan base like to do, as soon as a QB (or any player for that matter) has a rough patch, let's run his ass out of town rather than realize that players are human, have their ups and downs, and QBs especially have downs when their OL that is supposed to protect them fails miserably in that task.
And here we are again, with a sizeable chunk of the Rams fanbase ready to exile Goff forever, never mind the OL is one of the worst in the league (if not THE worst) and the head coach is stubbornly refusing to adjust and instead continues to chase his dopamine rush of chunk plays when we clearly cannot pull them off with the same frequency as we did in the prior two seasons because of said OL problems. This segment of the fanbase just never learns.
I think this is a great week to get the rushing game going myself.

I actually watched that whole game for fantasy reasons. He was not good. Pick 6 in the redzone returned for a TD. A fumble recovered by the D. Multiple sacks. He had less than 200 yards. If you actually watch the game he was bad.
Goff in comparison was actually much more mobile (in the pocket) and delivered better passes.

The offensive line was okay in the 2nd half and we still didn't do shit.
I wish they had run Gurley 25+ times.
The grade is in. Unfortunately, it‘s an F.
I did actually watch the game and he moved the ball . He was 3rd string at the start of the year and Goff is a 134 million dollar franchise QB . 1 for 13 or so on 3rd down and 3 points are God awful , and so was he today . Kupp was open several times and never caught a ball . My wife knows nothing about football and saw it . Haden could've signaled for a fair catch on that int . They came out moving the ball after halftime and that throw took the life out of them .

did you see him against the dolphins today? every game is different.
.
Everytime the ball was thrown to Kupp it was contested. He even had the ball knocked out of his hands. He was doubled the entire game. I don't know which play you're talking about but he was not running free out there.
Goff wasn’t good enough to overcome that, not many QBs are. But he clearly isn’t one of them. Just one TD was all that was needed in that tough situation, and Goff couldn’t get it.
