I used to be a beer snob and ONLY drank Petes Wicked Ale. I moved down here and tried to tip back a 12er of that on a 110+ degree day. Didnt happen. Like you, the extreme heat caused me to switch to a light beer. Now ALL I drink is Bud Light..LOL
