So you were able to see into the future on draft day and see Cam Akers was going to rupture his Achilles? If so, let’s get you on the Rams scouting team ASAP.
Doesn't take rocket science to predict a injury to Akers/Henderson based of last year alone. Both are injury prone.

If you were rewound 8 months nobody on this board would be saying we need a running back with our second round pick and not a speedy threat receiver lol
Lol you could say the exact same thing for a wr with our 1st pick. A very small one at that.

If you couldn’t see that both of the Rams two main starters were injured and missed significant time last year, you weren’t paying attention. A few of us were hoping they’d pick another runningback for insurance if not sign a vet.
^^^This 100%

I think we still sign a vet. Maybe 2. My point (which may be wrong) was I don’t think anyone was looking to use our 2021 2nd rd pick on a RB.

They're already here. They have a major base at the Carson Landfill.

Chill out chop sticks.

I dare you to find a football player whos thumb isnt sore.

:drum:We will rally behind Jake Funk… and we will play good football!
I mean…..that where Im at.

i like the kid. And if you keep handing someone the rock, eventually they will break free. Just ask Stephen Jackson. He became a local legend averaging 71 yards a game.

Funk got 56 yards just funking around the other day.

Looks like the Rams need to draft a RB early. Again. And that is very troubling. We don't have much draft capital to begin with. We need to start hitting on these RBs. Our current ones are talented but just cannot stay healthy.

IMO, it is beyond clear we need outside help at RB, because Hendo will always get dinged up. I just can't believe it happened before the season started. Good grief. Hopefully, it opens the Rams eyes to needing outside help, even if Hendo is day to day. Funk behind Hendo has knees that could explode at any moment, too. A recipe for disaster. They can't seriously be comfortable with our in house options. Talent wise, sure. But availability wise you'd have to be nuts.

If Funk could block as well as a traffic cone I think a lot of us would be lining up to support him. Until then he'll be a very good rotational/backup player.

Nobody said a second round pick. But after the 150 lb receiver, it doesn’t sound like a bad idea.

Lol I don't disagree there but everyone was saying "The one thing we didn't have was a field stretcher"

3 words for Henderson....no-contact drills!

As much as I initially hated the tutu pick over a center I would have lost my mind with a rb selection. Not just because the thought of Akers and Henderson going down for the year or so was preposterous, but that the rams could strike gold again with another rb around that pick.

Thank God its a sprain but please, sit him down next to Stafford

The Achilles heel for the rams will be the rb's. Akers and hendo are not the answer. How one of the young guys can step up or get a vet. Of all the dumb luck. Have to win through the air.
