More reason they should have drafted a center vs not. I hate hearing the win now as an excuse (not calling you out by the way, just saying in general) for not trying to develop talent. True professional teams should always have an eye on win now AND developing talent. I ask all, doesn't it take time for WRs (*cough, like Tutu) more than a year to develop but it's ok cuz we really don't need him because we have great WR depth? Creed would be in the same boat at worst. We'll see if the Rams made the right call.
I’m guessing you feel the same way about developing Allen?

can’t help but wonder what Humphrey would look like between Dembey and Blythe from 2 years ago.

She also mentioned in another tweet that it was a sprain, no ligament damage. So we possibly dodge a bullet.
Yeah for now it looks good. Still troubling it’s always something with him. We imo could use another option back there that’s more reliable health wise and can block. Funk and Jones have shown some wiggle but we sure seem to need some reliable to go with them.

Yea, I don't have much faith in Henderson. They better pick someone up after final cuts.

Lol I don't disagree there but everyone was saying "The one thing we didn't have was a field stretcher"
Not to mention that everyone that was paying attention knows how much the offense missed Brandin Cooks.
I'll bet it won't be difficult to find those posts 8 months ago.

Let's not be so quick to give up on Lewis. When he played, he shone like the Sirius star. I mean, we've kept Lawler all these years; why not do the same with Lewis?

Because you can get some value for Lewis and you couldn’t for Lawler. I’m not saying we have to dump him. But Lewis for Marlon Mack? Any day of the week imo.

Who is Arlen Mack? I probably know nothing because I don't really pay much attention to other teams unless we're facing them, but still...who?

I honestly value Lewis higher than most. Call me crazy.

It's RB Marlon Mack of the Colts, ... and no, I don't make that trade personally.

The Achilles heel for the rams will be the rb's. Akers and hendo are not the answer. How one of the young guys can step up or get a vet. Of all the dumb luck. Have to win through the air.
No pun intended I hope

He missed 3 games last year, that's significant??
3 games did not look significant to me last season. But from where I'm sitting right now yeah it does feel significant.

I'll be the first to admit you just never know with backs. And last season I talked up Akers' relative health behind that shit line in college. Thing is going forward now I don't see him the same way I did last year. I love the guy. Think he's a stellar back. But I am so fucking tired of backs that can't be counted on man.

If I'm Snead I'm drafting RB every year until I get a guy who can be the horse. And if I don't, well, at least I have a full stable.

I get that he flashed a few times, but lets not exaggerate about his impact. He had two sacks in 8 games. Sirius star? Come on..maybe a faint flickering of something resembling a star. He played half the season and has continued to miss time this entire off season. As others have said, its now news when he does practice. How pathetic is that? He has missed significant time in 4 of his last 5 years of playing football. 4 of the last 5. Not wanting to give up on him is understandable, but there is zero evidence that a degenerative knee condition suddenly will heal itself. It just doesn't happen. And if his roster spot is keeping someone else from making a significant impact on this team, or at least an impact for 17 games then he doesn't need to be on the roster.

Even when/if you get that guy you have to keep drafting. Maybe not every year but you have to keep cycling those other guys.

Xavier Jones was a workhorse in college. Perhaps he can be be the bell cow behind the Rams #1 O-line. I personally think this guy is a football player. Hey, you never know. (prayin' to the football gods) :bueller:
