I’m guessing you feel the same way about developing Allen?

can’t help but wonder what Humphrey would look like between Dembey and Blythe from 2 years ago.
No one in their right mind saw Allen improving and fighting for the starting center, but outplaying Corbett, who is playing out of position doesn't prove much in my eyes. Playing like shit and blaming it on who plays next to him doesn't prove anything other than he sucked ass his rookie year. Allen should and has improved. Still always going to lean towards a much better propect in Humphrey being drafted. Allen's ceiling vs Humphrey ceiling isn't the same in my eyes. Humphrey will have a superior career is my bet. I'm guessing more folks would agree vs not, but if not, your wrong anyways lol

I can’t believe ppl are saying Akers is injury prone cuz of a freak Achilles injury. Kobe had an Achilles injury and missed almost a full season. Was he injury prone? Cmon man be better

Kobe played more games than he missed. Can the same be said for akers? We all know the answer.

You should go back and watch some film from 10. Even with those boat anchors next to him he did play that poorly.

Can’t help you if you don’t understand how the guys along the OL affect each other.

Nah we just don't agree on the Rams approach. Watching film is going to tell me jack about a guy that hasn't seen the field in a good minute. Trust me when I say I'm rooting for Allen, but I'm not hopeful either. Just believe Humphrey will be better in the long run and not budging on that one. Apparently my unknowledgeable crazy ass knows nothing about online, but I've been calling Evans a backup and he's proving me right..... so there's that. Sorry had to PAT myself on the back since we got one of their backs today. Now I'm off to throw up cuz I sad Pat lol

LOL I don’t blame you, I hate that I rooted for them when I was stationed in CT snd they had Sam Cunningham.

I wanted Humphrey too but have supported Allen because he’s a Tam and think a lot of his criticism is unfounded.

Cheers, brother a good IPA should clean that taste out.

This is silly.

No one said that the Rams shouldn't draft a RB. They drafted Jake Funk. Isn't he a RB?

The point being made was that it didn't make sense to use a 2nd or 3rd round choice on a RB after the way Akers ended the season. And that there's no guaranteed said player would pan out.

Overreact much?
You and I both know we were discussing a RB with the 2nd round pick.
OMG they drafted Jake Funk? The 2 time ACL tear champion? That’s a solid plan for reliability to a season, good idea!

Ohhh back to the point from the strawman argument you created it appears we were willing to give up a conditional 4th rounder for Sonny Michel. Doesn't sound out of the realm of possibility they would have give up a 4th to move to secure a talented RB in the 2nd, which was my original point you conveniently left out.

But hey

There's no straw man on my part. Just reading comprehension issues on your end, apparently.
Issues from my response to your straw:

Corbin said:
Would have been a HUUUUUUGEEEEE reach and waste of resources to draft a RB this year!
-Memphis Ram and Riverumbbq

Anyway, your original point is what was being discussed in regards to not knowing if the player you wanted to move up to secure would be a bust or not. And, how that made little to no sense in April, prior to Akers injury.

Unlike your plan, what the Rams have done is obtain two players instead of one. And one is an NFL veteran RB.

Bet you'd say a qb that only played 13 games in his 1st 2 seasons (out of 32) was injury prone too huh?
