Some more relevant stats might be their average yards and touchdowns per season. Or just their average YPG as a Ram.
I edited my post and added the average yards per rush for season and career. I did list touchdowns per season, but they are total rushing touchdowns. I couldn't find the stat for rushing and receiving combined total td's though.

One thing this organization has always been good at is... RB's. From L.A. to St,L....to L.A. Rams have had some of the best RB's ever to grace NFL fields. And i am damn proud of DAT!

Hope not. That's just a football move, IMO. Tacklers lower their heads to take out his legs and take their eyes off him. Todd recognizes this and makes them miss.

When he stops hurdling - like he did for most of 2016 - that's when I start to worry.
Thank you for that. It was a joke.

We seem to be unique/lucky in that regard... because we definitely have.

They keep drafting RBs.
I think if Bell doesn't sign this offer he will be gone soon from Pittsburgh.
They don't over pay.

The deadline for Le'veon to agree to an offer has passed. He's playing this year on the tag and then he becomes an unrestricted FA.

I'm sorry, but you just don't pay a RB that much money. If the Cowboys give Zeke that much (even if he is the best in the league) I will be fucking pissed.

Yeah you do...In three years, this deal will seem like a steal. Gurley was one of our most productive WR's, as well as our best RB. He's a hybrid and doesn't fit into the cookie cutter idea of a smashmouth, run it down the gut, traditional RB. Zeke can catch the ball too, and some team is going to break the bank for Leveon Bell. Gurley's extension will be an afterthought in a year.

Gurley accounted for nearly 40% of the Rams offense last year... he's worth every penny.

And I hate to burst your bubble, but Zeke isn't the best RB in the league.

Which record or records? There's a ton of them: game, season & career records. He's got a lot of good backs to overtake with Dickerson, Faulk, Jackson, etc.

Or, are you talking about a record pay day???
I really think he has the potential to top a great history of Rams RBs. I know that seems steep because we’ve obviously had some great ones. But he certainly has a shot.

It's a bargain if he can remotely maintain his 2017 production for six years.

Now I'm even more confused on how we can afford to sign AD this season.

I'd almost bet my last dollar that we don't sign AD, let him play out his rookie contract and tag him for two more years. Hopefully we can by then sign him to a team friendly deal or let him walk. It seems like the writing is on the wall.
I honestly said this to a colleague of mine. I thought the same thing will happen.

Here's some Rams Running Back Records:

Steven Jackson Career Rushing: 10,138 yds, 131 Games (Gurley is at 3,296 yds, 44 Games after 3 seasons)

Marshall Faulk Career Rushing Touchdowns: 58 from 1999-2005

Marshall Faulk & Eric Dickerson Career Rushing Average (Tied) 4.8 yds per rush (Gurley currently 7th at 4.2 yds per rush)

Eric Dickerson Single Season Rushing: 2,105 yds in 1984 (Gurley's best last year at 1,305 yards)

Marshall Faulk Season Rushing Touchdowns: 18 (Faulk did it twice; last time in 2000)

Marshall Faulk Season Total Yards: 2,429 (1,381 rushing & 1048 receiving) in 1999.

Dan Towler Season Rushing Average: 6.8 yards per rush in 1951 (Dickerson best is 5.6 yards per rush in 1984; Gurley 4.8 yards per rush in 2015 as his best of the three seasons)

Willie Ellison Single Game Rushing: 247 vs. Green Bay 1971 (Dickerson 248 in Playoff Game vs. Dallas 1986)

Marshall Faulk Single Game "Rushing" Touchdowns: 4 vs. Minnesota Vikings in 2000.
I was thinking mostly on career rushing yards and total career yards from scrimmage. I wasn’t thinking he would eclipse all records in all categories.
