What set Dany off was after the bells rang she saw all of the Ravens flying to the Red Keep. I'm guessing she figured it was news of Jon Snow's true identity. So, she already saw how much people loved Jon up North and figures the people of Westeros will want him also, so F 'm all. If she can't rule it, then no one can.
It will be interesting to see if Dany orders Drogon to kill Jon. Jon is a Targearyon. Would a Drogon kill him? Could he tell it no? If he said Dracarys, would it burn Dany?
It was odd too see the once formidable ballista be so useless. At least it was more realistic this time. Those things were huge. How could anyone possible swing them around in time to shoot a flying dragon? They liked like they'd weigh half a ton.
Euron appearing just as Jamie reached the dinghy was too convenient. But I felt that Jamie and Cercei's death was fitting. The Red Keep was a symbol of their power. Having it all come down on their heads was good symbolism. Their entire empire was destroyed and they were buried by it.
And what of the Dothraki who took a heavy toll in the North? They came all that way for what? They should be pissed.
And when Dany asked Jon, "Is that all I am to you?". It Would have been funny if he said , "No, your my auntie as well". I know the incest topic was no issue with scum like Jamie and Cercei, but Jon, pure as the driven Snow, wouldn't be the type to be okay with it imo.
