Small amounts of it in a salad are great IMO. Just don't make it a huge part of the greens.Real English or "proper" English. Arugula is nasty btw....

With brisket, I like to use Post Oak or Hickory for flavor.
I found a three-Chile rub that I like on brisket -
1 tbsp Chipotle Chile powder
1 tbsp Ancho Chile powder
1 tbsp Smoked paprika
1/2 tbsp white pepper
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp white sugar
1 tbsp sea salt
have a good cook!
Pretty close to my rub. Have you tried adding a little Turkish grind coffee to it?
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 2 1/2 teaspoons black pepper freshly ground
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 3/4 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper.....This is the rub ingredients we used and the smell is driving me nuts.
Going to make Cheesburgers later.
Toasted bun
Melted cheese
Grilled white onions
Crisp lettuce (keep that limp spring mix off my sandwich)
Tomatoes
Good advice. Saw videos where it's hard to kill! Grows really well in the climate zones for Oregon where you used to live.Be careful on horse radish. Every little piece of root can grow a new plant. Once we started it, it took us three years to get rid of it. I suggest digging a big hole and planting it in a container.

Truly is one of if not the best way to eat a burger. The onions have to be cut as thin as you can get I use my mandolin slicer.
