If they’re replacing the Funk with Skura, who takes Edward’s roster spot I wonder?
Fishing you were;)

You know......

Bobby Evans.......brings back such fond memories of other great OL'ers i.e. Grant Williams, Adam Goldberg, Chris Williams, Claude Terrell, Tim Barnes & Brett Romberg.:lying:

I like the moves. Leaves one open roster spot doesnt it?

OL Coach Carberry needs OG now. Skura was always a backup center for the most part of his career & was the reserve center for Kolone against Dallas. Swing OG/OT veteran Oday Aboushi has been active now for the last 3 Ram games.

With the OL'ers dropping all around it would be smart to finally get Oday Aboushi to start @ LG this week. Let Bobby Evans be the backup to the OT's & bring up LG Chandler Brewer to back up OG's Jackson/ Aboushi.

Oday Aboushi starting LG
Matt Skura backup center
Chandler Brewer back up OG's
Bobby Evans back up OT's

That would be the best reserve 3 OL'ers at this time.

I'm thinking they could move Jackson over to LG to get Aboushi in to start at RG. Skura also has OG experience, on both sides, so they could choose to leave Kolone in at Center & get Skura acclimated at LG. Chandler Brewer at OG remains a possibility as well, although likely a more distant choice. Several options on the table, I just hope Evans isn't one of them.

Bobby Evans is the Wanda Sykes of the Rams. They just keep giving him parts to play, and nobody understands why.

Is it your opinion that you are ready to flip Jackson to LG?

It does have a better feel to it since he was a LEFT side OL all his college life & LG might be his best fit.

I believe that Jackson should remain & continue @ RG to learn the position.

Does he need to be removed & why?

Is Oday Aboushi better @ RG than LG?

Since Chandler Brewer got most all the LG snaps in preseason & has been mostly attached to that LG post overall plus with the loss of our Super Bowl starting LG to the IR bringing in a long-term known well instructed LG to back up that post would be a smart move.

If Brewer is not ready to finally fill in @ OG after all this time lurking on the PS & as 3rd team OG in TC's he needs to be replaced & a better OL take his spot who can improve.

I fish with C-4 and a net.

Hey guys. I've been working on a formula to fix our decimated oline. I think I've got it!

Jackson only has 3 starts as an OG, and he struggled a good deal against Dallas at RG, of course, most everyone else did as well. J.Jackson is our back-up LT, so playing with Noteboom on the left side may just help with his footwork and adjustments which might benefit both of them in the long run. I don't believe Jackson's ultimate destiny is as an OG, I see him as our swing OT for the next couple years, and one that in a pinch can step in as an OG in case of a real emergency, like what we are facing this season.
Brewer remains a solid option, and it's hard to say just where he is now on our depth chart with the additions of Skura & Aboushi, and with all 3 of these guys hitting free agency after this current season along with Edwards & Evans, who knows who will be offered futures contracts, ... although I don't expect to see Edwards or Evans returning. jmo.
