I said something big was coming. Trust me you'll know when it breaks.
I’m guessing either a Stafford or AD extension

BTW: props to you for sticking bro this potential big thing. You easily could have pivoted and said the big thing was the JJ acquisition and removed your head from the noose.

Oh of course! I knew a little bit about Parkinson, JJ is a player they found in evaluation and was high on their FA big board but I didn't think they would go that route when it sounded like they really wanted Shelton back. I'm so glad they did. With that said, this is a much much bigger name

Can you say whether this potential is a trade acquisition or a FA?

I'll state my guess, trade for Surtain involving pick 19. Second guess, Mack to Rams. Both would qualify as big names.

Personally, I'd hope against the Surtain trade. He was not as good last season as he was in '22 (where he was a stud). Last season he was a bit above average. Not worth the cost and I'd rather gamble on Mitchell or Arnold at 19. Surtain is also on year 4 of rookie deal with his 5th year option costing almost 20m in 2025.

Mack seems like a far more likely outcome.

Jake, I hope you're not just yanking my chain, because I'm getting excited.
If a Rams fan in New York, who is a podcaster, gets an inside scoop, due to leaks from the Rams FO, then my opinion of the Rams front office just went to shit.

Oooh. If we are guessing, let me throw one out there:

AD wants to retire after playing a season or two with the Steelers. He had also gone from, "absolutely I'm back" to silence and rumors with Jourden. The Steelers are low-key going for it with the acquisition of Wussel at the league minimum. So, the move is trading AD for a haul and using some of that haul to get Mack and/or Surtain/Sneed.

Don't think it's happening, don't want it to happen, but if we're just throwing ideas out there that MIGHT happen ... ;)

Trading AD to Chicago for their 1st round picks, they stick with Fields and we get Caleb

I'm going to guess too, we are trading with KC for Sneed. it will cost us a 2nd rnd pick.
I thought this as well when news broke of him wanting a trade. Seems like a very Les Snead move. But now with DWill back, idk - seems unlikely.

Parkinson was a guy that appeared in two of my videos too haha I'm excited for him
I saw that you were one of the first(?) to report it.Don’t know your thoughts on his signing. It was at a price.

Higbee’s signing mid/season imo was silly!!! He had another season on his contract. What it shows to me is that Tyler’s injury was really bad & who even knows career (effect) ending ?

Long is more of a receiving TE & Davis Allen was an excellent find
with 3 years left on his contract.

Solidifies the TE’s,so a good signing.Maybe help The Rams WR do less blocking & more getting off the ball faster into there routes.
