Tyron Smith? Would be reminiscent of the Whitworth signing, a big name veteran presence to lock down the blind side is nice and shouldn't break the bank.
 
I'll add Khalil Mack's cap hit is ridiculous unless that gets mitigated with a trade (I'm not an expert in that area). Danielle Hunter is about to get PAID given what Brian Burns just got. Neither one of those options seems realistic imo.

Personally? No. I would like to keep AD until he retires, and I would like his retirement date to be sometime in the 2030's.

Would Les? I still doubt it. Maybe those two picks plus next year's first? I still would hate it, but it is just interesting to try and read the tea leaves of Jourdan's comments on AD mixed with the head office's silence and Jake's "Big News Coming".

I still hate the thought of losing him at all.

Even if nothing else happens, I consider Jonah Jackson a huge move. I love a good Oline as much as I do a good DLine.

I watched one of your later shows Jake. I watch the usuals, Cowherd, Eisen, etc…. I don’t watch much else. I thought you did a good job on reviewing the signings. I liked your offensive and defensive free agency fit lists videos too. Don’t let anyone here discourage you. Keep plugging away. Your last name isn’t Simms so you have to do it the hard way.

I can appreciate how difficult it would be to sift through all of the good intel/bad intel in order to decide if a storyline is worthy of publicizing. I can also appreciate not wanting to air out details prematurely possibly upsetting sources. But with your posts on this storyline you caught some serious interest from this forum. As a result - this forum would like to request an update as to the deal you were following to let us know if it passed or if it’s still breathing (without any expectations of revealing more details ails at this time).

This big thing is happening and we should see it tomorrow. I cant say what I cant even say what kind of move it is. But it is happening tomorrow.

I hope the big thing is not the Noteboom decision. That would be pretty lame. Even a Stafford restructure is rather predictable with the amount of money they have left to spend.
 
But seriously I’ve been happy with our FA to this point. We needed to get bigger, better and tougher up front. I also like the re-signs.

Bottom line should be making life easier for Stafford so he can do his thing and we’ve done that.

Seriously, I for one believe you; and I am excited. Looking forward to the next day or two.

But, if something big does not happen, @OldSchool, @dieterbrock and @Loyal will be paying you a visit. Those are "Serious Men"; and one of them is border-line psychotic. Just to let you know.
