Where the Rams have an advantage over many other orgs is their ability to focus in on the traits they want at different positions in the draft. They don't have the picks or the cap space to play in this scenario because they chose their guys already and paid them. So even with all this Goff bullshit going on the fact hasn't changed that they're going to need to draft better than everyone else once again to stay where they are. And that's really hard to sustain. Especially when you need a QB on top of all that.
I expect they'll sniff these options and pull out when they find the bouquet to be more than they can handle. And they'll settle on some option that few here are gonna like. The ones people already hate like Minshew, maybe Darnold if other teams like SF and NO don't swoop in and drive the price up, etc.
2021 will be a ground control offense with a rebuilt OL that takes shots deep. Expecting more than that is not realistic IMO. Schematically McVay is a trend setter so as I have mentioned before I see him introducing heavy RPO elements and called QB runs and his QB corps will be a lineup of RPO types who are agressive and hyper competitive.
It was no mistake he tried to hire Kingsbury. That wasn't just a friend thing. I think McVay has been thinking about this for a while now. Look at our roster at the QB position now. You have 3x guys who can RPO and fit what I'm talking about. This is where it's going so buckle up.
