I would also like to add that the narrative that the Rams have to win the super bowl this year
or this trade is a failure is complete BullShit.

The trade the Rams made is not just about this year.
This trade is about the next 5 years at least.

They are trying to put all this pressure on the Rams and it's ignorant.
The only way to grade this trade is by what the Rams have accomplished at the end of Stafford's career.

speaking of handling pressure

So Keshawn says a whole new defense? 10 new guys? He thinks Floyd, DWill, SJD and Robinson weren't on that defense last year? Methinks he's just like those other guys who don't do research before projecting what a team will do. What did the Seahags do to improve their team in the offseason? I think they'll be a good team but I don't see any change from last season. A team we spanked two out of three times with a quarterback we ended up trading.

It is fair to say if the rams don't win a sb with Stafford then the trade is a failure. Whether it's this year, next year or whenever if Stafford doesn't bring a Lombardi to LA than it's absolutely fair to say the trade is a failure every year we don't make it.

Do not disagree with that and that was kind of my point. Just don't understand why the media says it has to
be this year. I do believe our odds to win it all are much higher, with Stafford.

I believe they'll say that every year until he wins one for LA.

Way too many factors to win a Super Bowl to say the Stafford trade in and of itself needs to ensure one or more Super Bowls. What the trade does need to ensure is offensive dominance over the NFC West defenses. If the Stafford trade doesn’t establish this over the next 5 years then I would agree the trade could be considered a bust. But the trade does not ensure dominance of defensive or ST play.

They have to win the Superbowl.....McVay and Stafford....hell they might win a couple. Doesn't matter when. Doesn't matter how. These 2....as a head coach and quarterback have to win it all. Having said all that I understand the pressure. It's what most football fans see. Innovative HC. Talented vet QB. Great roster. They gotta win it all.

Keyshawn? Seattle is always a safe pick. Shanahan worship is a good reason to pick SF. Bet against the Rams. That's practically like saying "you can have the Rams....I'll take the field". Whether it's for the West, the NFC or all the marbles. Safe bet. But he's still a moron despite that not being a moronic approach. It's the safe bet.
