Sure it does. It's not that they're over rated. They under rated by the Rams. But still, trading 2 first round picks raises expectations or at least, it should.

That implies that we didn't expect the Rams to win the Super Bowl had we not made the trade, which is simply not the case.

I expect the Rams to win the Super Bowl this year. Expected it in 2018, 2019, and 2020 as well. Would have expected it this season whether we made the trade or not.

You can make a case for either way. First half 2018 Jared would've nailed that pass. But the one post Chiefs 2018 game...not so much.

Oh glob, I actually watched the vid again. That ball was indeed a wobbler. It hung in the air (you can tell how Brandin had to wait for it and climb back up for it). I place 60/40 Jared/Brandin on that play. It's unreal and unfortunate how Jared's development became stagnant.
A strong handed high point receiver would have likely made that catch but it was late and hung in the air way longer than it should have.

You definitely Present some very valid points.
Blyth was bad, but there was Changes put in the system due to Goff's 2019 dropoff.
I could go as far as a combination of reasons for the changes, but I would have as hard of time putting it all on
Blythe, as you may putting it on Goff.
Either way I enjoyed your feedback. :beer2:

I am very glad that Blyth is gone and can't wait to see Corbett. We will be bigger up front and I hear Mcvay plans to
Inject even more power schemes in addition to our zone.

I hate to say it ,but I am envious at times watching the sheer violence in shannys running attack.
I really hope that this is a direction that Mcvay is heading.
Yeah that's probably true about Goff because dammit - he made some stupid decisions sometimes.

I should probably also have said that Goff's inability to move in the pocket also caused McVay to change his game plan too.

It seemed if Blythe's guy got free or any other offensive lineman's guy for that matter - Goff would be down or trying to run for his life and throwing to the closest person he saw.

Stafford's ability to get free and then look downfield is something I do look forward to this year.

I think Kupp or Woods would have come down with the ball. Cooks was excellent getting open deep. He just wasn't the best at catching contested throws.

How you feeling about Corbett? He's gotta be an upgrade Right?
I love that we will be bigger inside, Hoping Corbett turns into a serious mauler

I feel that Corbett will be a huge upgrade to Blythe as long as he can make the line calls and his snaps are good when Stafford goes into Shotgun

I expect the to "compete" for the SB every season and want them to win it. But we're not talking about Ram fans expectations. It's outside expectations (the media etc). And those are the folks who feel the Rams ....now..... have to win the SB.

My favorite part was when Keyshawn said in response to the other guy, "Pfft, Stafford throws 4000 yards every year!" as if that was a come back that trashed the other guys opinion.....lol! That is Government level stupid!

Yes. Lol. But he won't throw for 4,000 this year. Much more. I might have predicted Bobby Trees and Kupp both in the top 5 receiving but I feel if VJ breaks out, it'll take a tick off their numbers.
