He only looks like that because he’s Purdy with a young team.I disagree with all of that. I wouldn't let him leave if I was the Vikings. Besides, if I am Darnold I sign a team friendly deal that is around 35 mil a year for however long it needs to be to fit under their cap with the understanding that the contract is renegotiated after 2 years if he hits certain goals.
This guy isn't Purdy. He has way more athletic ability and skill.
Ok I will be here.He only looks like that because he’s Purdy with a young team.
Once Purdys old ass team fell apart around him he was and has been exposed for the skill level he is.
Darnold is the same except he has a young ass team that won’t fall apart for a while and is cheap. McCarthy can run that offense when he comes back effectively and a lot cheaper.
I’ll circle back around to you when the wheels fall off like the did for Purdue, Jimmy G, CrapOnDick. They’re all the same and when the D coordinators have a whole off season they’ll start picking his game apart.
Great 2025 list. Add 2 things: a field stretching WR and an innovative OC.Don't mess with my QB.
Sign or tag Jackson.
Sign Higgins in FA.
Draft a stud TE.
Draft a Corner.
Draft a swing OT.
Draft a snot bubblin run stuffer.
Go win Super Bowl next year.
They got Nacua in R5 and Whitt in R6. Not sure they’d spend $28m/year for Higgins vs drafting a R3 TE/WR. But IMO Nacua/Higgins/Kupp 2025 > Nacua/Evans/ Kupp 2024.Speaking of potential signings next season, does anyone think the Rams would be interested in a FA WR like Tee Higgins if he's on the market?
Starting with this post My New Year’s resolution will be taking 2 hits before challenging any post. I want toI will take 2 hits.
Can we clone Josh Allen ?Daniels run-ability won the game for Washington last night. That mobility was huge for them.
Lamar Jackson runs too much for my liking, and Daniels probably was asked to run too much… so, definitely not wanting a run-first QB… but yeah mobility would be sweet.
I thought JJ looked pretty good in the preseason, though it was just preseason. What is more likley would be the Rams trading for McCarthy a year or two from now if Stafford starts thinking about retirement.
Darnald just might ve the Vikings guy going forward. They probably hold into McCarthy for a year or two more in case Darnold implodes, but if not he will be on the trade block eventually.
Not saying I would want that as I wasn't a big McCarthy guy, but I would trust they would know what they are doing if such a move happened.
He covered the field stretching WR with signing Higgins.Great 2025 list. Add 2 things: a field stretching WR and an innovative OC.
I'm not saying this will happen but if the Rams signed Higgins, it's possible they make that move simultaneously with jettisoning Kupp's contract. They got Nacua in R5 and Whitt in R6. They will have cap room to add multiple solid FA's so I would add a top kevel CB amd maybe a MLB to pair with Speights and a very good vet NT.Don't mess with my QB.

It would be nice if they could add CB, D.J. Reed. They will have cap room to add multiple solid FA's so I would add a top kevel CB amd maybe a MLB to pair with Speights and a very good vet NT.
As for Higgins, too injury prone. We already have that here. So unless he comes at a decent price, I would pass. He would represent a won now approach, just would fear it would turn into a bad contract quickly.
Nick Bolton. Just...Nick Bolton. I wanted him over Atwell in his draft year because he was one of the best linebackers Mizzou's had, and he's significantly improved in the NFL.It would be nice if they could add CB, D.J. Reed.
You have in mind any names for MLB and NT? I've been perusing the free agent list and am not seeing much for those two positions.
Yeah, the FA list seems weak. The draft on the other hand looks pretty deep at those positions. Unless a guy like Warren is gettable in the first, or any other prospect that they really like, it would be a good year to move down and get a couple more top 100 picks. Especially if they do decide to pull the trigger on a 3rd rd QB like Dart.It would be nice if they could add CB, D.J. Reed.
