Anchovies? Just.. no.

But my favorite is BBQ chicken pizza, baked by my wife. Does a tremendous job, sautees onions & portobella mushrooms first before putting them on the pizza. Mixed BBQ & marinara for sauce. Mozzerella / cheddar blend on top. Hand made crust. Unbeatable.

I used to work at a place where we grilled the dough beforehand, it makes for a thin, crispy, flavorful crust. Margherita is my favorite kind.

Oh, and cheers to Long.

Oh, and speaking of crusts? Fuck Chicago deep dish pizzas; they're disgusting and not real pizza. Also, St. Louis style (super thin) isn't my favorite kind. Favorite kind actually has a crust on it, a thicker crust. I'll eat St. Louis style (not Imo's, though, I don't know why people think it's good pizza), but it has to be at certain places.

Okay, real talk: FUCK Little Caesars with a knife up the ass. My brother actually worked there for a time. Not only is the pizza basically cardboard with fake cheese, but the manager was an incredibly shitty person. He ordered my brother - eighteen, at the time - to fix the oven's broken electrical part instead of waiting for an electrician because he didn't want to shut the store down. Never mind that my brother had no experience with this kind of stuff, but if he did it wrong, he could've fucking died or set the entire place on fire. Naturally, my brother refused, and he got fired.

Little Caesars is so fucked up as a company, and I will absolutely never eat there, under any circumstances.

Provel is awesome, but I prefer other places that serve St. Louis style pizza, not Imo's - no matter how many David Freese commercials there are. You ever hear of Fortel's?

Pineapple does NOT belong on a pizza. The Hawaiian's would tell you the same thing. The Canadian's are also ticked because their bacon doesn't belong in the vicinity of pineapple either.

Nasty.

EDIT: The Canadians actually invented Hawaiian pizza. Thanks for that.

Pineapple belongs on a pizza about as much as green bells and white onions. Disgusting!

Chris Long’s football career reminds me of an extra large pineapple pizza

Oh, and freak your "chills" too....

Pineapple on pizza is Un-American..... Lolz.

Yes I've had Fortel's and I like it even though I'm not a mozzarella guy. I grew up on Cusanelli's Pizza (the Original St. Louis Style pizza). BTW a St. L Style pizza has PROVEL otherwise why bother!:p

Green pepper and black olives.
Love what Long has done outside of football, world needs more people like him.
Feel like he’s turned his back on the Rams so for that the fan in me says freak him. (The football player not the humanitarian)
Pineapple and bacon only belongs on a pizza if I’m eating it on the beach.
That is all...

Green pepper and black olives... Yes!! I wish I was on tour with you instead of these ingrates...

Yeah Chicago style pizza is basically a calzone with the lid ripped off. Too much bread. I dig the thinner NY style.

I’ll confess for the longest time I wouldn’t even try HP, but I’m telling you boys after I did it was actually pretty good, not overwhelming you can still taste the cheese and sauce

My favorite always has and more than likely be your basic pepperoni

But if you’re knocking something ya haven’t even tried, you may be missing out

As a chef I can say that anyone that gets within ten feet of my pizza with pineapple is going to have to get past my knives and they can shave the hair off a gnat's ass.
Welcome to Chopped! Please open your baskets. In them you have pineapple, pizza dough, tomato sauce and Canadian bacon. You have 30 minutes to prepare your entrees. Clock starts now!

I used to stay over night in Toronto (and Vancouver BC, for that matter), and it would amuse me to ask for a Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza. The lecture about Canadian bacon was always amusing....lol

Appetizer, main course, or dessert? I never said I didn't like pineapple or Canadian bacon. Just keep that pineapple the fuck away from my pizza.

I used to add pineapple to things when I was in the military because of the health benefits it has and the fact that the nutrient profile is pretty damn good. Basically would combined that with beef lamb or chicken (depending on what we could get) with rice or noodles and a vegetable (often broccoli) and make a make shift stir fry with it. Pineapple added a little bit of sweetness to it, didn't mind it. Because of that I can now tolerate pineapple on pizza even if I wouldn't order it myself. Just means if someone else does order it, I can get a supreme or a pepperoni for myself, and then get the Hawaiian style once they all run out while the rest of you suckers bitch about being hungry.

You guys (and gals) are hilarious!! I have never enjoyed a thread as much as this one. And always remember... pizza is like politics... everyone has their favorite, and everyone else's sucks - lol. Seriously, ANY pizza is a good pizza. From Chicago's deep dish to NY style thin crust to wood-fired and everything in between... they are all excellent. Personally, I most enjoy getting pizza from a new restaurant. Lastly, Chris Long is a good guy. That is all.
