Five pages in a celebration thread but vent threads are locked at like 15 pages? What is the site AFTV? That’s Arsenal fan tv for those that don’t know.

Naw we're better than AFTV, we'd be hearing #McVayOut or #SneadOut if we were as chicken little as those Arsenal fans.

There isn't another team in the league that I see using receivers as lead blockers yet Rams do it consistently.

Woods and Kupp are excellent in the blocking game.

The hole that Gurley picked on his touchdown was behind Woods and Kupp.
When ?......this next game or next season?

McVay will need a OT to start on the opposite side in TC\Preseason & early regular 2020 season. Have any thoughts on that?

I know Havenstein's BIG weakness is smaller quick edge rushers who usually work over the LT's. OT Bobby Evans did play LT last season in college, Havenstein has never played LT.

I should mention here that UDFA Rookie OL'er Chandler Brewer played most of the 4th quarter @ LT in place of Andrew Whitworth. He played very well @ that post.

Guess we know who has been getting reps in practice in place of Whitworth now...Brewer.
Agree I would keep this current starting OL from this point on for the rest of 2019 season.

Havenstein has preformed poorly all season long. Booting future starting OL'er Bobby Evans to the bench does nothing to move this OL forward into the future. Havenstein's long term future with his team may now be in doubt after his :poop: this season. I would collect the 2019 season RT evidence between Evans vs Havenstein for determination on the future starting RT for 2020 & beyond.
Let Hav get healthy and battle Evans for the starting job. Either way the Rams will have better depth at RT.
I would also resign Blythe given his better play at C. A low cost FA I keep mentioning is Dozier. Both guys should cost less than $4M a year. Let Corbett, Allen and Blythe battle for the C job. Let’s say Corbett wins it.
Corbett/Edwards/Evans on the right side with Dozier and Blythe providing depth at both G spots with Allen providing addition depth at C and Hav at RT.
The real question to me is the left side.

Not saying it’s as prominent but there has been some of that. It starts small.

Woods and Kupp are outstanding but flavor of the month Baltimore are being held as an example of WR blocking, as are Frisco.

Its surprising, that they haven't already.

Been bubbling for quite some time but this morning they seem to think they turned a corner.

The O's performance so far was enough to justify staying the course but that getting dominated the way they did on both sides of the ball changes that calculus.

And it's even more delicious given how much and badly they were dissing Goff last week.

:ROFLMAO:

They cut Brock today who’s been bad but he’s also been their best corner. Must e been something going on after the game.

Great game. My favorite moment was Goff laying a block. That said a lot to me about how Goff feels about winning.

Yeah, and if they're current segment is any indication, they're baffled by that as well. None of them could point to anything on-field. Everybody on D was bad, him no more or less than anybody else.

The real question to me is the left side.
Veteran Center 28/5 yr Austin Blythe & 2019 OC back up 25/2 yr OC/OG Coleman Shelton should get strong considerations by Snead/McVay/Kromer for both of them to be resigned for the purpose to compete with 3rd yr OC Brian Allen. Why ? Just in case that drafting a good starting OC prospect does not happen.

I am thinking that Kromer has solidified the Badger 6-5/310 David Edwards as his future starting RG. Edwards had 31 starts on the right side in college. Teaming the two Badgers together (Havenstein @ RT) on that Right side would be a good plan.

I would hold 25/3 6-4/310 Austin Corbett @ starting LG. Corbett's main contention would be surprising 23/2 6-6/320 Chandler Brewer. Brewer appears to be battling his way to be Kromers all important 2020 6th OL'er. Brewer has played four OL post well. Interior Coleman Shelton could also see a lot of LG action in TC/Preseason too.

Reference the LT perplexity.... OT 23/2 6-4/313 Bobby Evans will be forced to be our #1 LT in TC\ preseason & first half of the 2020 season. Not sure when Joseph Noteboom will be fully healthy. This is a post that concerns me most.

I would expect RT Rob Havenstein to be here in 2020:
Pre-6/1 Release 2020 Dead Cap: $6.15mil. 2020 Cap Savings: $1.65 mil.
Pre-6/1 Trade 2020 Dead Cap: $2.4 mil 2020 Cap Savings: $5.4million.
Post-6/1 Release 2020 Dead Cap: $4.55 million. 2021 Dead Cap: $1.6 2020 Cap Savings: $3.25 million.
Post-6/1 Trade 2020 Dead Cap: $8 million. 2021 Dead Cap: $1.6 2020 Cap Savings: $7 million

So you want to add nothing in the off season?

I think it would be fun to see a replay of the game with a live scroll of the GDT synced up off to the side like those YouTube live streams do.

That would be an interesting 3 hrs

I see those receivers blocking down field. But literally Kupp and Woods are running up the gut in front of Gurley as lead blockers.

you forgot Gurley

yeah kinda wanted to give him one for that magnificent td run but I would like to see that effort on a run where he just steps out of bounds with out a fight. oh what the hell give him one to plus ought to mention his pass blocking to.

Sure I would love to add a very solid veteran but what UFA would you suggest? Rams need a stud @ LT to protect Goff with all the questions attached to Noteboom's reconstructed knee. Can the Rams afford to sign LT like Anthony Castonzo ?

Center is a big worry with only Brian Allen as our only center signed for 2020. Allen is & was a big issue. McVay has several seasons worth of experiences with 30 yr old Spencer Long who might be available after a bad yr @ Buffalo. OC 30 yr old Brett Jones who only played 7 snaps for the Vikings will be available as a UFA .

I like Spain the LG from buffalo. Don’t know what his price would be.
LT is a hole after Whitworth.
I don’t think the Rams could afford a top LT.
Get Whitworth af a discounted rate?
Outside of that the cheap FA like Dozier is probably what we are getting, if anything.
Wouldn’t mind adding a vet cheap FA DL as well.

O'Brien, Marino, and Peyton Manning.

Sing it! "One of these things is not like the others, one of these things just doesn't belong"
I was going to ask who the hell Ken O'Brien was, but I think this sums it up.
