I like Spain the LG from buffalo. Don’t know what his price would be.
LT is a hole after Whitworth.
I don’t think the Rams could afford a top LT.
Get Whitworth af a discounted rate?
Outside of that the cheap FA like Dozier is probably what we are getting, if anything.
Wouldn’t mind adding a vet cheap FA DL as well.
IMO the Ram OL is packed full of talented youthful OL'ers hand-picked by Snead & Kromer going into 2020. (Edwards-{RG/ LG/ RT}\ Evans-{RT/ LT}\ Brewer-{RT/ LT/ LG/ RG}\Corbett-{LG/ RG}) Leaving Snead with only one veteran Havenstein with 5 NFL seasons on his resume.

I should add in 2nd yr injured OL'ers center Brian Allen & OT Joe Noteboom to that youthful OL cadre however both are on the injured reserve. Allen only has 9 starts & Noteboom 6. There is no guarantee that Noteboom will play a half dozen late games in 2020. Noteboom was a very weak starting LG.

How much was center Allen's 2019 performance (9 starts) contaminated by having two very weak or injured OG's playing next to him??? Allen opened up with Blythe on his right side, then Demby then the unhealthy Blythe. On his left he had 6 gms with Noteboom, then Demby then rookie David Edwards before his injury.

Does Snead/Kromer believe that Brian Allen can be an effective starting center for Goff if he has two solid OG playing next to him?

I would expect that Snead will add a few veteran OL'ers into this very young OL.

I don’t think Noteboom or Allen will be back for week1 next year.

Roundup: Cardinals waive CB Tramaine Brock

The Cardinals' Week 13 thrashing at the hands of the Rams didn't come without a cost.

Arizona announced it has waived cornerback Tramaine Brock.

Brock was Arizona's best cover corner in 2019, according to Pro Football Focus, but that didn't help much against the Rams. Jared Goff completed 32 of 43 passes for 424 yards and two touchdowns against the Cardinals, who allowed an average separation of four yards per target, the second-highest mark in the NFL in Week 13, per Next Gen Stats.

The numbers get worse from there: Goff attempted a pass into a tight window on just 2.3 percent of his attempts Sunday, the lowest amount of such attempts in the league for the week (the next closest mark was Derek Carr's and Drew Brees' 10 percent). Goff also targeted open receivers (three-plus yards of separation with nearest defender) on 58.1 percent of his 43 attempts, and wide-open receivers on 23.3 percent of attempts.

Simply, the Cardinals did the bare minimum in pass coverage Sunday. Brock is obviously not the lone player at fault for such a performance, but at 31 years old and in his first (and now, only) season in Arizona, he seems like a logical release for a team that likely wants to get a better look at its younger players in the final four weeks of the season.

The Cardinals are also releasing running back Zach Zenner. With Arizona's backfield at full strength, the Cardinals deemed Zenner expendable, and he'll go on waivers.

I keep wondering what changed. This looked like a different team. It looked like the team that was playing great most of last season. There was more energy across the board. More effort and enthusiasm. It looked like the team that played Seattle tough in Seattle, only better.

Despite all of their struggles this year, the Rams could easily have two more wins. They at least should have beaten Pittsburgh if the game was fairly called. Seattle was a missed field goal.

Started the same Oline for the second week...

Played the worst statistical pass defense....

Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods played across from Cooper Kupp for the first time in a few weeks...

so, a few changes that I noticed!

Five pages in a celebration thread but vent threads are locked at like 15 pages? What is the site AFTV? That’s Arsenal fan tv for those that don’t know.

Maybe people are just being cautious. After the Monday night debacle, it's hard to accept what we just saw in Arizona. Some of us aren't sure if we should believe our eyes. I know Arizona isn't a good team, but this Rams team looked very different than it has the last couple weeks.

A few more games looking like this team did against the Cardinals and we will all be believers and hoping for a miracle just like that weak Giants team that had a miraculous playoff run capped by defeating the Patriots offensive juggernaut. You know, the one that ended up with Steve Spagnoulo falling into our laps.

The energy was up for the whole team. Goff had more energy, the receivers had more energy, Higbee looked better than he ever has, the defense was swarming to the ball. Something changed the mindset of the entire team. Maybe McVay promised that the winner of the game ball gets to spend the night with Veronika.

The beat down we took Monday night can make or break teams. Sometimes it motivates them to never look like that again and work harder. And others it derails a season and player stop giving a shit.
