I don't think we've seen the end of this weirdness. Foles could be dealt on draft day (or before) for the Rams to move up and get their guy.

Interesting possibility, I'm happy to see Bradford go however, it was time. So much character, potential and promise and yet such a bust. He may in fact "shine" in Philly, over the decades the Rams have dealt numerous players that have gone on to excellent careers i.e., Jaws, the Bus, etc. I'm sure most here will wish him well, he gets another chance....heck, perhaps someone actually will put him behind a line that keeps him upright, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Anyway, I think he's 2 years from proving anything.

Big Ben is like 265+.

Foles came into the combine at 243 IIRC. He's probably somewhere around 235 to 245.

I can see why Eagles fans are perplexed. They got the better QB but with a huge price tag increase and a huge injury ? hanging over it all..
Obviously, Kelly likes Bradford and apparently wants to clean house as far as his roster is concerned.

Here is how I see this ... we got rid of a potential disaster with Sams $$$ and injury history. Foles is a decent and athletic QB ... but we are alos a lot younger than we have been in many may yrs with Foles/Keenum/Davis .. and quite possibly still a draft pick to add to the mix.

What I would like to see now is getting two OL guys at least in FA along with re-signing Britt. then we finish business in the draft ... we could get Trae Waynes to finish our CB spots, another OL pc to finalize that and depth at LB and other areas.

The key is ... what we do with the Cap $$$ saved from all of this.
