I will never understand this board in particular's morbid fascination with a career underachieving IR starter with the worst rookie contract in NFL history.

Nick Foles is a Pro Bowler, has a 27:2 TD/INT ratio (an NFL record), and has a reasonable contract. Am I the only one who sees this as a no brainer?
I don't understand this obsession with Bradford either, I think it's a good trade. Beef up o line in FA and draft

Who besides me thought we would GET draft compensation? I figured we would get a second, maybe next year. Philly will trade SB before the draft and GET picks for him.

Why not throw in Robert Quinn while we are at it?

I keep saying it - why not cut him instead???

I'm outta here for the day y'all are depressing and can't even accept the fact we needed a quality starting QB that met 2 requirements 1 not injury prone 2 not fresh outta college cutting his teeth against real defenses. Why don't y'all show some class and see how foles plays before saying this trade is stupid were not children were grown ass men
You nailed that sh it boy :) totally agree

Well, looks like we failed to meet requirement #1.

Yeah and Bradford was Rookie of the Year. Foles had a great season, let's not act like he's on a fast track to Canton just yet.

So we've got rid of Sam, lost our #10 pick and our second round pick. AND we give them a pick next year?!? I thought it was Philly giving US picks?!? What a totally b*ll*cks trade. This is a total cockup guys. I've lost all faith now.

Not with swapping firsts AND sending them a 2nd. A team's lifeblood is their top draft picks.
our top priority is o-line for now, we can still get a top 5 talent at 20, trust the front office man. They have done a solid job this far. Not to mention we were gonna have to pay through the nose next year if SB did have a good year.
It was just time to move on

First off for all of you saying Foles is healthy, he has been injured 4 out of his last 5 years going back to college. I live and work right in the Philly area and the Eagles fans are just as pissed as most of you are. I don't like this trade but it depends on how is shakes out. We still don't know what the trade off or compensatory pick will be.

Before it was swap 1st and maybe a late round pick from the Eagles for Foles. So the Rams give up Bradford and his salary for a compensatory pick. If the Rams shore up their OL with the additional cap space this could work out for both teams. I will still root for Bradford but will be unbelievably pissed if he blows it up in Philly. This Chip Kelly system might work to his strengths since he thrived in the hurry up at OU.

Jim Thomas: Bradford-Foles trade involves exchange of picks in 2015, plus conditional picks in 2016. Deal is not signed yet.

Dont Sign It!!!!
This doesn't mean 1st round picks, and nobody has reported it yet. We need to wait for details, then we'll freak out.
