In fairness to AJ, he's not injured every 5 minutes like 'Boom, although I still support your desire for an upgrade at the position.
Yes he is certainly a cut above Boom because he can string games together and he can actually play.

But the blood clots early in his career are an issue for me. That shit don't get better with age. On top of that he is a bit too injury prone, and I don't like this shadowy bullshit 2 game suspension. If he'd fuck up in a contract season like that I don't think he's the guy you want protecting your QB's blindside long term.

The way to handle this situation is franchise tag him for the 2025 season. Then draft a LT even if you have to move up to get the guy you want. It is time for the Rams to prioritize that particular cornerstone position.

No fucking way. Detroit just got another elite edge rusher to go along with Hutchinson, a top receiver to help with St. Brown's injuries, and they only had to pay picks and a quarterback who would be a backup for them?

Holy shit. If this is true, they just won the trade deadline.

Very highly doubt it's true.

I highly doubt it as well; if the Raiders' management is smart, they maximize picks by trading Adams, Crosby, Koonce, and whomever else won't be in the long term plans for youngish players and mid-to-high picks.

But if this is true, this makes Detroit the premier contenders in the NFC.

Crosby and Hutch off the edge would put Detroit in the title game.

Rams broke the trading in the NFL but that's a Madden trade has to be fake Crosby is 2 first and a third devante at least another third and because of Crosby still seems light they would almost need to be done as separate transactions don't when paired like that feels like you owe half your roster.

Also does it even work money wise?

In my defense, I repeatedly said I was trying to speak this into existence. And I think this is what the OP tweet was referencing.

Now I pose this question to everyone (not saying I'm pushing for it so don't give me shit hahaha).....if we happen to pull a win outta our asses this Sunday and could McSnead consider a trade for Adams if Puka's knee is worse than they are leading on? Also, important, how pissed would you be? If I remember correctly (or maybe I was high as shit) this is the same FO that tried to also get Mack the one year we were getting everyone so they could use him for the year, franchise him and trade him during the next. All I'm saying is these guys aren't guy shy about doing crazy shit is all :laugh1::laugh2:......forgot to add that I'm guessing the CAP makes this shit hard to fathom but reports are also out there saying that teams want the Raiders to eat some of that salary. No matter where he goes, gonna be interesting to see where he actually lands.

Wtf? Is everyone thinking of throwing WRs out there? What's going on?

After Quarterback, it has become the high-profile position, with a lot of WRs now getting huge-$.

Johnson is very talented but may not be the most committed-player. Do you remember the questions about his effort last season? Still, I think he is a pending free agent; and Carolina should, at least, consider a trade.

Johnson could be interesting as a trade target (I'm not thinking the Rams) because Carolina is likely to be aggressive in 2025 Free Agency.

If a talented WR (like Johnson) was to remain with the Panthers for the remainder of 2024, and then sign elsewhere in 2025 Free Agency, his contract would likely be large enough to trigger a good compensatory pick (3rd or 4th). However, if Carolina is active in Free Agency, its Net Additions could easily exceed its Net Losses, and that could translate to no comp picks received under the formula used which looks at the totality of a team's signings and free agent losses.

What, I'm saying is that a 5th or 6th could get it done. Then again, What the Fuck Do I Know?

There's always someone out there that will take a chance on talent like that. Will be interesting to see if its BS or actually comes to fruition.

That’s what a rumor is. One person’s opinion as it relates to a specific stortyline. Definition states rumor as “a currently circulating story or report of uncertain or doubtful truth”. In other words bullshit.
But doesn't everything start as a rumor? Time will tell if it is BS, but they were rumors saying Adams wanted out prior to the season and look how that turned out. I get that not every rumor, probably most aren't true, but unfortunately the style of journalism out there is throw shit out there to see what sticks. I'm guessing it takes away from valid rumors.
