Look out for SAS Rogue Heroes guys. Very much in the Guy Richie mold of filmmaking and by the makers of Peaky Blinders, it's a highly enjoyable dramatization of the beginning of the SAS that looks like is making it to the US soon.

Brilliant soundtrack too using tracks from The Damned, The Clash, The Stranglers, Motörhead, AC/DC, and of course, Noel Coward.

I watched the first 5 eps. on Sunday. It was a whole lot more entertaining than the Rams game. Yes, low bar.
From the people who brought you Westworld, based on source material from the father of cyberpunk, and initially set in Appalachia, it's not bad.

finished witching season one , not a weak episode , so well written and acted , the Mandalorian is still my favorite , but Andor is a more superior show , not a lot of action , but yet you find yourself nervous watching the whole time

really enjoyed this show , Jenna Ortega was great as Wednesday , but on the other side of the coin , Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán were terrible as Morticia and Gomez , they have no chemistry together what so ever , luckily , thier not in it all that much , their little side back story was stupid as well

this show reminds you ALOT of Harry Potter , and they don't even try to hide, mysteries and monsters at the academy , over all , I really liked the show , but that pretty much had all to do with Jenna Ortega and her roommate

1899 on Netflix.

A ship on its way from England to New York receives a radio signal with just coordinates that it believes is from its sister ship that went missing with over 1400 passengers and crew aboard 4 months earlier.

The passengers basically all say duck 'em keep going to New York, but the moody German captain stars into space a lot and decides to go anyway.

They find it and it's deserted except for a child.

Then it all starts to get very weird with cans of worms being opened only to find out that the worms inside have eaten more cans of worms.

All the passengers are hiding murky secrets and it has a distinctly Lost (the TV series) feel to it. Lost at Sea would have been a good name.

I'm almost 4 episodes in and I have no clue what to make of it. If the wife had said let's leave it, I'd be fine with that, but happy to stick through some more.

I like that everybody speaks their native tongue and subtitles are used and it's atmospheric for sure, but I'm having to use a tad more headspace than I'd like.

My guess is it will garner a loyal viewing as per Lost but will leave some people cold. I quite enjoyed the first season of Lost and then gradually lost interest when I realised there was never going to be a solution and never even made it to the end of the second season.

just some random thoughts

I loved Star Trek , Strange New Worlds and can't wait for season 2

but in the meantime , also really enjoy the two animated series , Lowe Decks and Prodigy , both are animated , but are very different shows , both in animation styles and tone

Prodigy actually has a pretty interesting story going on and would have even have made a good live action series

The Santa Clauses , with Tim Allen , a TV series thats a contunuation of the three Santa Clause movies , if you've liked those three movies , you'll enjoying the show , Tim Allen desides to retire and moves his family to Chicago , and.........................his replacment isn't working out , so you know , once again he has to save Christmas , nothing really new here , but Tim Allen does play Santa with alot of charm , again , nothing new here , but I'm enjoying it , but man , just once , and with todays CGI , I wish Christmas elves didn't just look like children with Spock ears ...........................lol

Willow , this show probably won't be confused with Game of Thrones , I've only seen the first two episodes , it's a Disney / George Lucas production , as I was watching it , kinda realized it's probably geared more to the younger audience

the young Prince has been kidnapped by the evil doers , but instead of the Queen sending a troupe of here most trained and experanced Knights to rescue him , she sends her teenage daughter the Princess , her girl friend , a young cook , a young Prince from another kingdom , and elder guide insearch of a experanced magic user , to rescue the prince ,


and thats when I realized what this show is , it's a group of 15-19 year olds sitting around a table in thier parents basement playing Dungeons and Dragons , where you start out as a young level 1 character with no experance , and are sent on an impossible quest , and collect experance points along the way to be able to go up a level , and that's what I think Willow is , if you're going to compair it to Games of Thrones , you might be disappointed , but if you are someone who ever grew up hanging out with your friends playing Dungeons and Dragons you might like it

when I was in the Navy , we played Dungeons and Dragons alot, when you live on a Air Craft Carrier for thee years , you have alot of extra time on your hands ..................lol

I havent played Dungeons and Dragons in probably over 25 years , but I still have alot of fun memories , todays video games are insane , but the're just not the same

I love this show, started watching it on the plane with my 17 year old daughter, thought it was gonna be a kid show. WRONG!! Its really good and a great twist on a classic

Bonus- some awesome music interpretations of classic rock, IE Metallica, Rolling stones etc
