Beat the Jets?

My God I can't imagine what would have to happen to stop the Rams from beating the ever loving shit out of them.
McVay should try to get a huge lead and pull key starters as early as possible.

The beauty of it is the 3rd and 5th seed are equally attractive.

Get the 3rd seed, stay in LA and we most likely play teams that have been inconsistent in November- December (Seattle since we will beat them again, Chicago, or Tampa Bay).

Or get the 5th seed, travel but go against a division we swept with band-aids at QB.

Win win IMO.

The only reason I'm nervous is because other than the Bills the only games we've lost is to shit teams we should have beaten. Rams really should have the motivation to win this one though

i think the only seed that matters is #1 as you get a week off. Otherwise hone field means diddly. Just look at the road records this year.

The #1 seed is still a possibility
If Geno Smith can get playing time, this should be the game we see Wolford get some snaps.

Technically we clinched a playoff spot with the Niners losing.

Chicago, Washington and Minnesota are the only teams that could catch us at 9-7 - but we hold tiebreakers over all three with either head to head or conference record

The Miami loss doesn't look near as bad as it did a month ago. Their D is legit and the Rams got sucker punched. Buffalo is legit as you said, and one could argue that game was stolen at the end by the guys who throw yellow flags.

IMO the two Niners losses are the only black marks thus far this season. Division games, inferior opponent.

Getting the #1 seed just became plausible today. It would be nice but...

If the Rams continue to develop that running attack and can bring it through the playoffs, nobody in the NFC can beat them. McVay still needs to elevate the offense to another level. That's what I need to see. There is still work to do. The play action and screen game has been figured out so enhanced creativity is critical now. Do that, and even the Chiefs can be beaten by the Rams. Our defense is legit.

I want to play whoever has the worst run D, lol.

I'm not too concerned about what other teams are doing offensively. Our guys will win those battles.

I don't want to see Brady/Bowles/Tampa again.

Not really. For us to jump New Orleans, they have to lose twice. Doesn't seem likely to happen.

Unless the playoff calculator is off, I am showing if we win out and GB loses to Chicago and NO loses to Minnesota then Rams are #1 seed.

Actually if i understand correctly, they only have to lose once, but it must be a conference loss. Either Vikes or Panthers. Still rather unlikely i guess but assuming the Rams win out, we would own the tie breaker by virtue of a better conference record since there is no head to head.

Rams 12-4(10-2)
Saints 12-4(9-3)

This is correct i believe. Because there was no head to head games between the Rams and GB or Rams and Saints it goes to the conference record tie breaker.

I disagree.

Yes, we lost to the 9ers...uck...but the only two other losses are to Miami and Buffalo on the road and Miami seems to have gotten their D worked out as they intercepted Mahomes 3 times today and nearly helped them come back to win against the Chiefs.

If we had to lose 2 other games... losing them to playoff teams of the AFC on the road? Bout the best combo.

Also, I think if we replayed them today, we beat both and I like us against ANYONE in the NFC rn.

But I want the #1 seed and division to make the people who doubted the rams look foolish af. I'm also curious as to whatever excuse they would make to being so wrong.

49ers were 4-12 in 18 rams were 9-7 in 19 and that was a "bad year" by many expects. Not the same situation.
